My favorite place to go get donuts. Once a month or so I make a visit and buy my kids a half a dozen of donuts each. They absolutely love it and so do I. If it wasn’t for my diet I would probably be there 3x a week lol. This place is very clean and the staff is super nice. Tell them Lu’s Reviews sent you.

Normally, we love Shipley. The last couple weeks, however, have been quite disappointing. Do not order the blueberry cake donuts unless you want RAW UNDERCOOKED BATTER in your donuts. These are not cooked thoroughly, and the insides are still goopy.

Small ham and cheese kolaches. Only has one small peice of ham that is about 2.5 inches long and barely any cheese, that is just all soaked into the bread. Also the ham was very dry, like the bread, and cheese. Not warm when I got it. I’m not one to complain about food but I won’t be going here ever again

This location seems to have gone down hill a bit. Always loved it before. I grew up on Shipley donuts and kolaches. The best thing was they were always fresh. Now, it seems like every time I visit the koalches are always old. What a shame. The folks working are always very pleasant though.

Donuts were ok. Nothing served hot. Crème filled donut tasted mired like cream cheese icing. The kids liked them, so that’s what mattered today. The lady taking tor order seemed to be bothered or inconvenienced by the fact that I was there placing an order. Def not in a friendly mood.

I wish I would of taken a picture of my ham and cheese kolache. I was so disappointed. I found out there was a Shipleys here in Corpus (I’m from Dallas) and since I’ve been here I haven’t had a good donut or kolache. I went to Shipleys super excited and was very disappointed. I spent almost $10 getting donuts and kolaches. I started eating the donut and it was alright. I tore in half the kolache because it wasn’t the warm soft, slightly crispy Shipleys kolache that I was used to, but instead it was rock hard dry, cheese was dried to side of bread ham was old looking. It was all the way around a horrible experience.

The donuts are donuts. They are good and I called to get hot ones, I bought one by itself to make sure I wanted a dozen hot. And when I got home with them apparently they served me the not hot ones, they were hardly warm and I live 4 minutes away. But hey, you live and you learn… and then you read reviews!
