Randy’s Donuts Reviews

I regret not coming to Randy’s until the end of my SoCal trip.

They use Jones Coffee which is a local spot. I got a latte which was okay.

The guy working recommended the butter crumb raised and said you can’t get it anywhere else. It was bomb.

Next time I’m in SoCal, I’ll definitely be back to try their other donuts and get another butter crumb raised.

After a long day and a frustrating start to the week, Calvin greeted us at Pasadena’s Randy’s Donuts outpost as family. Confession: Having lived in LA for four years, I never visited Randy’s!

Calvin walked us through his favorites and treated us so kindly. If you stop by the Pasadena store, please ask for Calvin!

The Texas donut is incredible… kinda like Texas. So are the sugar, the raised glazed AND every other donut … they all look fantastic.

This is a great location on Lake and a super treat after a great dinner.

Highly recommend!!!

Randys Donuts is an LA institution and the Pasadena location is no exception. The donuts are always made fresh daily and they have a friendly staff. Easy order pickup and free parking in back.

They are very good donuts, but Donut Man in Glendora is my best.

Great donut shop with a wide variety of classics and new trendy flavors. Perfect to satisfy my donut craving while traveling! The blueberry, devil’s food and crumb cake were all next-level good.

Staff is very friendly and prioritize public health safety. Shop is best for grab-and-go (not a lot of seating).

Got a dozen donuts for a birthday party. This was about 5pm. All the donuts were stale and oddly flavorless. I’m sure it’s just bad timing. They looked *great* but were dry and stale.

This is what a donut should taste like. I love their Nutella raised and original glaze. I tried the cake ones, but surprisingly they were not good. Like regular donut shops make it better. Coffee was good too

Think of this Randy’s donuts in Pasadena as the satellite version of the original. They don’t serve all of the same classic items as the one located in Westchester. For example they have the crumb donut, but they do not serve the fried apple crepe. The staff is very friendly and the donuts are incredibly fresh no matter what time you visit. If you’re looking for a nostalgia I would definitely recommend you visit the original.

Went to the Pasadena location twice in the past year. Donuts are cold. I think they are leftovers from previous day(s). I sent an email to Randy’s regarding the freshness but got no response. I have always liked Randy’s in Inglewood!

The donuts are not fresh at the Pasadena location. I’ve gone there for about 1 year and finally tried a location in LA thats baking in house. Totally different taste. I also question the food handling in Pasadena their leftover donuts may be saved to sell the next day(s). My impression of Randy’s is not the same and I do not recommend them anymore there are other donut businesses that haven’t lost their passion for what they do. Try Donut Friend or the pastries at Sip and Sonder.
