I go there at least 3 times a week. It’s very hit or miss. Totally depends on who’s working & if they know how to properly make your specific beverage. My excitement is starting to turn to disappointment.

Kept hearing the beignets were good here. Stopped in to try them. Took a while for someone to acknowledge me but they were all attentive soon enough. Asked to try a beignet thinking they were going to just charge me for an order of 1 and send me on my way, but the lady returned with a bite size bite. I thought that was sweet.
Ordered an order of 3 to go. Came out pretty quickly. Noticed first that they weren’t drenched in powdered sugar, which I prefer. They were hot, flaky, light and tasted like a biscuit with a hint of butter. Currently $1.50/ beignet. Id easily come here for my beignet fix, instead of crossing the bridge for cafe du monde.
