one of my favorite coffee shops. came here often when i lived in Overland Park; design is unique for most coffee shops in the area, clean blonde lines, more conducive to writing, brainstorming, etc. Had a pour-over and an espresso. Both delicious. Was never overcrowded when there and had space to work on creative projects.

Customer service was good, the place is busy, my wife really liked her drink and I thought the strawberry lemonade was okay. Probably should have gotten coffee at a coffee shop so that was my bad. My wife loved the donut she ate as well!

This is a cool laid back restaurant with great vibes! Love the atmosphere of the place, it’s like a college type of place. The food here is pricey for a coffee shop but it’s not all that bad. Its like a mix is Starbucks and Mochaloax but plan to return to try out other items.

My favorite coffee shop in the KC metro! Great atmosphere, abundant seating, and lots of power outlets.
The space is very conducive to working. It’s also bustling enough that you could have a chatty coffee date without feeling like you’re disturbing anyone.
The staff are above and beyond – really the main reason I love this coffee shop so much. Everyone who works here is so friendly. Props to the owners for hiring great people and creating a good work environment for them!

I live on the road and always look for wonderful and unique places to have coffee.
We found ourselves in the area and we’re looking for a cup. We did a Google search to find a coffee shop that was open later at night.
A great vibe and atmosphere, modern with the overly White tones but yet very comfortable. The baristas were friendly and even offered to bring our drinks to us at the table after we ordered.
Looking forward to coming back.

My boyfriend and I visited this coffee shop yesterday and we took maybe two drinks of our orders. I ordered a coffee and he got a juice. Two completely different items, but both tasted completely off. I can’t even describe how my coffee tasted… other than it tasted nothing like coffee. I was very excited to try something local so that’s why we stopped in. Giving three stars for the look & cleanliness of the shop, and the girl working behind the counter was welcoming & helpful.

This used to be really high quality coffee however in the past few months I’ve been pretty disappointed. My order is often slightly wrong (hot instead of cold or too much syrup when I request the opposite) and it’s just not consistently the same quality anymore. I’m not sure what happened but it’s disappointing. Still better than most of the chain coffee shops but not on the same level as Second Best or Messenger Coffee any more

Great independent coffee shop that provides space and quiet areas. In addition to the great coffee and teas offered, there are also pastry items available.
If you are tired of chains, give these folks a try…. Or better yet, just give them a try PERIOD. You’ll be glad you did and will return often.
I highly recommend the chai tea latte (hot).

Yummy coffee and pastries. I like tasting their seasonal menu! However the customer service is hit or miss. For example, one barista spilled coffee all over my friend’s backpack and didn’t bring him a new drink or get napkins to wipe it. On the other hand, you won’t kicked out if you stay all day.
