My first beigneits! Simple & delicious! Make sure you eat them fresh and hot – they will not be good later.
Also had the lavender oat la’assant, which was delicate and delightful. Perfect amount of lavender without it coming across soapy and the oat accompanying nicely.
Will be back soon to try more!

Lets start off with their infamous La ssant’s, they’re reallyy delicious and I can see why many people enjoy them. It was nice and warm freshly baked, the cream on top had great flavor, and soft dough however for me the only thing I didnt like was how watery the creme was and how oily the doughnut was. For the maple bar, the cream tastes like thickened maple syrup, not much texture and the flavor just tasted a bit off too me. The dough was soft and moist though. As for the mini bengiets they
were nice hot and warm, they were really soft and nearing perfection!! But sadly around the time I went they didnt have much selection left and it was kind of overpriced in my opinion 🙁 I’d say the La ssants were my favorite from this place though.

We were told NOLA is the actual best donuts of Portland. For me the best is still pips, and my husband prefers blue star. I’d still like to come back and try some of the more unique offerings like poppyseed with raspberries. We ordered maple bar, chai and London fog. They were good, but nothing to write home about. Classic maple bar was the best of our order. Donuts are soft and airy inside with just enough sweet layered on top. Cute urban inside. Fairly large seating area for a donut shop.

Get the la’sants – they are amazing! Think croissant meets donut with a slightly crispy exterior and delectably soft interior. We were on vacation on a mission to try different Portland donuts each day – however this required a second visit. We tried s’mores, orange creamsicle, and lemon basil. We also did the maple bacon bar – personally we will stick with their la’sants as they are unlike any other donuts we’ve had. Looking forward to NOLA the next time we’re in town.

Remarkably flavorful donuts. We had the lemon poppy. Lots of lemon zest give it flavor. Quite sweet but not overpoweringly so. Came back a second time with friends. Did not disappoint.

The donut was good, but the price is sort of high. The texture was like a crunch and crispy on the outer layer but creaming and rich in the inner.

Finally had my chance to stop in and try it. I’m all about the beignets and they didn’t disappoint. An order of minis are affordable at $5. And they don’t cook them until ordered so they’re warm fresh and all the messy sugary goodness… I’ll be going back as often as I can…

Get the lavender oatmeal donut! For you krispe cream lovers! This is where it’s at! Yes I know! Especially glazed donut lovers…you will love this place. I thought eww cold donuts? It don’t matter! The flavor is that ridiculous! My husband keeps saying wow enjoy! Just shh and come here!

Nola donuts is delish delish delish!!! They make everything hot and fresh in house. I always make it a point to visit when I’m in the Portland area and tell everyone to make a stop when visiting Portland. I ordered the beignets and 4 donut varieties. Each with its unique flavor and sweetness. Definitely pick up a bag of beignets and enjoy the cozy comfort. Tell me you didn’t love them!

Would recommend getting the style doughnuts. A really cozy seating area reminiscent of NOLA. Great coffee as well.
