We were customers when it was on Mcrea, it was good the, it’s good now. Best donuts around. Teleras are also really good.

Went this morning, the owner as always has a horrible attitude…bought 6 pieces of bread .3 chocolate donuts and 3 other pieces…he proceeded to put my bread in a small bag and of course all the chocolate came off…I had requested a separate bag and he ignored me…. Service is horrible…price way too high.. paid $11.21

Awful place, terrible food and the old man is so rude and will make you wait for a very long time to give you the food even if you’re the only one there. Never again!

Ex Mexican wrestler, Flama Roja pens and rings this small but quaint place on the corner strip across from Hanks High School in East El Paso. He worked from early early morning until 4-5pm EVERYDAY pumping out all sorts of Mexican homemade and handmade treats. Famous for their bakery items, they also serve specialty burgers and hot dogs, tortas, tamales, and 15 different types of homemade burritos with choices of soda or aguas frescas. Never been disappointed yet.

If you don’t know Spanish then don’t go in the bakery. The old man will make fun of you and encourages the other employees to make comments to you in Spanish. Hateful and racist.

Great cusromer service but the food was not so great. The red tamales were dry as well as the meat inside. And some tamales were “pintos” meaning they were not cooked evenly and you can tell by the color. The only plus was the telera bread. It was better than most places.

No empanadas…dirty trays to serve yourself on….the counter display is for a few cookies and buñuelos only. Mostly donuts and francecitos. I was looking for a good display and variety…they came no where near that. First time…..last time.
I’m editing my review because I decided to read other reviews. It appears to me that these people either have alot of friends and they all review multiple times since I saw some names repeated. I dont think my experience here was a bad day or an exception since others are describing the exact same thing. If you have no PRIDE and no taste, then carry on with your Five Star reviews. In business for the sake of being in business. There is no history, tradition, or pride in this business.

Burnt bread, disgusting menudo. A thick layer of oil on the top plus stinks

Sweet bread is just okay. One of the pieces was very hard and their stock ran very low. They claimed that someone comes and buy several boxes and I do not understand why they just don’t make more. There are better places that are better, but this one is conveniently located for some. The attendant was friendly and professional.

I usually go here and like this place but today the service was very unprofessional. I waited 20 minutes at the drive thru and I was the only car. I could see the female worker going in and out of the restaurant.she looked like she had just gotten out of bed from a night of partying. Her hair was all over the place and she was wearing a dress that was hallways up.. apart from that she finally came to window and looked at me. I told her I wanted a burrito and she said ok and closed the window. Looking at her I knew her hands were probably not even washed I got grossed out and left. Never again.
