Lucky Donuts Reviews

I went there for the first time today and I really liked their old fashion. I went after 11 a.m. so there wasn’t many to choose from but she did say they were making more in the back which is good to know since most shops stop baking/frying after mid mornings. They open at 5 a.m. which is good if your were around those hours.

My first time here but my wife always comes here and today I came with her. The place was clean and had plenty of donuts but the lady that helped my wife was very rude and she seemed like it was a bother to her to help my wife and she seemed irritated that my wife was asking her questions about prices but I was hoping my wife didn’t get her because she had an attitude with another customer before my wife. I know it was starting to get busy but you have to take care of each customer with your undivided attention. We are not going over there anymore and I’m going to let people know to never go there. The prices were high and the Customer service was terrible.

Donuts were just okay. They have a super confusing pricing system, that I still don’t understand. They have type a and type b donuts, but then also just a price for regular donuts? I still don’t get it.

I hate to leave such a low rating for a local business, and I did keep trying/giving it a chance, but I have consistently experienced rude service and inconsistent prices here. Today, after being charged almost $2 extra(!) for a breakfast sandwich and being snapped at about it being “plus tax” I left with a bad feeling in my stomach (this is the 2nd time I’ve been overcharged). Of course I don’t mind paying tax, but $2 for a $7.50 sandwich is not tax. And does it hurt to say hello or you’re welcome to someone who’s greeted/thanked you? There is a man who works there who’s friendly, but unfortunately, I rarely encounter him. I won’t be coming back, but I wish the business well.

Nice doughnut shop! Freshly baked pastries on the premises, coffee selections and quality are primo . Parking not a problem; lottery tickets conveniently in the shop. Wish my neighborhood had a doughnut shop!
