Donuts are always 5 stars the best in the city! Customer service not so much. You might run into the some rude people with attitudes depending on the day. My advice is read the room if they don’t greet you, don’t take it personal order your donuts and keep it moving you aren’t there to make friends. Afterwards bite your donut, and automatically a smile will come to your face. On the other side, greet kindness with kindness and still go about your day.

Everybody in Kansas City loves these donuts. I thought that the donuts were pretty decent especially the glazed. The customer service is lacking for sure and the prices are very high especially for Kansas City!

I have loved Lamar’s since I was a kid. My grandpa would drive to Kansas City from Lawrence to get Lamar’s and I always looked forward to wolfing down a monster maple long John and a chocolate glazed donut and cruellers and old fashioneds on and on the list goes. TO THIS DAY I still love Lamar’s and the last two times I went in I was blessed with some absolute gems, all the aforementioned pastries were on my proverbial plate (which was actually just the bag mushed flat in my lap because I couldn’t wait to reach my destination [I know, I know I should stop eating donuts and driving, I should know better, my first car accident involved donuts and driving]) and those babies have stood the test of time. I think I may have even received an extra donut or two but hey who’s counting

The clerk was Young, Patient, Kind, Friendly ,and Professional. The donuts were great too! I hadn’t been there in years. I think I’ll go back soon.

This location is in my neighborhood so I’m there regularly, amd it’s always a good experience.
PLEASE ADD A TIP OPTION TO THE CREDIT CARD TERMINAL! No one comes in with cash, and it would be a big deal for your employees. It would be really nice to do this.

WENT TO LAMAR’S DOUGHNUTS LOCATED AT 32ND & MAIN, KC, MO. ON SATURDAY EVENING, WHERE I PURCHASED A DOZEN OF FRESH GLAZED DOUGHNUTS!…. ABSOLUTELY GREAT GUY’S & SINCE IT WAS 20 MIN BEFORE CLOSING,… A DOZ. OF GLAZED COST $17.00… BUT I GOT IT FOR THE LOW,LOW!! …$9.00….. SO YES!!… THAT MADE MY DAY AWESOME!!

Good quality donuts, decently priced. I tend to like the more donuts that aren’t frosted so the cake donuts with cinnamon sugar are probably my favorite. I went bright and early so they had a great fresh selection to choose from, too.

I traveled over an hour to visit LaMar’s Donuts (Based off the reviews). My first experience was a pleasant joy. The manager was wonderful, the donuts were delicious, and they had an excellent price value. However, today is my second visit and at 11 a.m. they are all out of any type of major donuts (they were even out of glaze). I understand majority of donuts are more popular than others. I do not understand (if this location stays open till 2 p.m.) why they do not make more donuts to keep up with the demand the crowds bring in. I had to substitute my favorite donuts for a few basic flavors (they only had a selection of seven to choose from). First experience was wonderful- second experience not so great.
