I ordered a custom tres leches cake for a 10-person bridal shower and every single one of my friends and family enjoyed it. Prior to the event, I discussed cake details through text with Kathy and Miriam, who were very accommodating and helpful. I sent a picture of what I wanted and the cake was made just like I envisioned and even better. The berry mousse filling was a big hit and the cake wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. The price was reasonable as well. It was perfect!

Found this place on Google and decided to try it because the reviews were great. I went to this bakery late, about 7 minutes prior to closing and purchased a cake. I was acknowledged after about a minute of browsing, which is fine. I had to chose from what was pre-made considering it was last minute. I went with the mango tres leches and let me tell you, that cake was delicious! The cake was a fair price and the young lady was helpful in explaining the other flavors of cakes and the pricing. She also wrote on the cake with what seems to be an edible wafer. I asked her about the day it was made, she said they’re usually made within 48 hours and I went with one that I was hopeful was made the same day. I ended up getting the cake for a loved one, who froze it for a later date. The pic is the cake after it was defrosted, and still in perfect condition with the exception of the dissolved wafer and smudged writing. It was sooo good! Even having to freeze and defrost it, the cake still had a great taste and texture. It was the perfect consistency for tres leches, because I hate when people make it too milky (iykyk). I definitely plan on returning to try other cakes and of course I recommend. Btw, the bakery is very clean and the personnel also look clean and presentable!

For almost 20 years my go to bakery for tres leche cakes. My opinion, hands down the best tres leche variety of flavors you will find. Call ahead to find out what’s available that day or order in advance for that custom touch.

The store is clean and the service is first class. I love the fruit tart and the napoleon. The girl who served me made a great cappuccino!

This may be the best bakery in lower NY and possibly the entire state. Very clean, nice staff. I don’t like the fact that the coffee is self serve but w e. I highly recommend the fruit topped 3 leches cake. To die for.

I ordered a chocolate 3 leche cake and they gave me something else. Im so disappointed that I paid for 3 leche and they gave me chocolate mousse cake. I couldn’t even eat it because i was so upset. It ruined the special event i was hosting… everyone expect a delicious 3 leche cake.

I purchased a cake from the display case. I’m not sure how long it was sitting in there and when we cut the cake the same day I did not enjoy it. The cake did not taste fresh moist. It tasted dry. I was very disappointed because I’ve purchased cakes from the bakery in the past and they were alright.

Wonderful, delicious cakes. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake, it was so good and fresh. Service was great and fast. Definitely recommend La Pinata!

I was not satisfied with the taste of the cake at all! Guest was also complaining saying that the cake taste old and was on the dry side. Presentation of the cake was beautiful and my daughter was happy to see her favorite characters on the cake. The bakery is clean and staff was very polite but I gave it 2 stars because the cake was not up to par!!!

I travel over an hour for occasion cakes from La Piñata. Hey, maybe it is on the expensive side for certain pastries, but so worth it! Beautiful display, not so friendly staff, but the owners very nice! We have been going for years! Best Tres Leches cake! I highly recommend!
