Totally amazing experience! I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted for my daughter’s birthday cake and they patiently helped me narrow it down. Not only did Delite provide me with a beautiful cake, it was delicious too! Everyone at my daughter’s party was complimenting the cake and asking for the bakery’s information. I highly recommend this bakery! The staff was friendly, courteous and you could tell they all really take great pride in their work. I will absolutely order from them again!

I have worked in cake business with decorating and handling whip cream. My daughters graduation party was this past Saturday July 16,2022. I asked my sister that lives in Yonkers to pick up a cake from delite bakery our favorite, and she picked up a strawberry whipped cream cake, and a Napoleon cake. My daughters favorite was strawberry but unfortunately the whipped cream was spoiled and sour. My sister wasn’t able to bring the cake back on Sunday even though she picked it up a before arriving at my house on Saturday. I refrigerated the two cakes right away! She returned it today as per the manager Eric requested showing that barely 1/4 of the cake was eaten. She had left it in the car because the whipped cream was spoiled and why refrigerate a spoiled cake that made 3-4 peopled sick. Only one fourth of the cake was missing because we realized the whipped cream was spoiled and no one could eat it. The manager Eric was trying to say we didn’t refrigerate the cake and it spoiled because of it. I will post a pick of the two cakes. We have been using Delite for most of our family celebrations for the past 22 years! It’s not about the $25 cake it’s about people got sick and Eric insinuated that we were possibly wrong or lying about it. No customer service and rude manager! Very dissatisfied with the way he handled the whole matter.
IN RESPONSE TO THE MANAGER ANSWER YET AGAIN, the cake was spoiled prior to it being left in the car as I stated in my review. The cake was either old or not refrigerated properly. Eric has no people skills when someone is telling you people got sick and you insinuate it was spoiled by being left in the car. It was spoiled before that and again why would you refrigerate a cake that is old and spoiled? Doesn’t make sense, you see the cake wasn’t eaten obviously there was something wrong with it.

Delite bakery is the best bakery. We drive to Yonkers from NJ to get their cakes. Our favorites are the cannoli cake and rainbow cake. All their pastries and cookies are wonderful especially cannolis, cream puffs, napoleons and eclairs. Call and order ahead and I email them photos or images to personalize the celebration cakes.

I ordered a 3/4 sheet cake, cookies and cupcakes for an engagement party. As I’m not from around the area, I was concerned about placing such a large order having never used this bakery before. I sent photos of what I wanted and gave specific directions and they did not disappoint. The cupcakes and cake was moist and decorated exactly as I had asked, the cookies were perfect and packaged individually. I wish I lived closer as I’d definitely order from Delite Bakery again!

I loved this bakery ever since my days in Lincoln high school. The fact that so long has gone by and the taste is just a reminder of my hometown of yonkers. Carolina was able to help me and my friend today pick and decorate and cake. I truly love seeing this kind of customer service and attention to detail. Big thumbs up Delite bakery. It’s truly an honor.

BAD CAKE!! I knew something was off, but still ate a slice of Strawberry shortcake! Sure enough mother nature knocked on my door 3am! NEVER AGAIN, NO MORE. this was my favorite bakery! Management needs to be GONE, he will drive the business to the ground! NO REFUND or credit for a future cake, this is how a loyal customer for years get treated for a bad cake!
The cake was purchased Saturday! It was bad when we got it.
It was left in the car on SUNDAY, because the cake is bad and you want to see it??? Was was the plan Eric? were you going to eat it??
