Kinley’s House Coffee & Tea Reviews

Encender “Halfstar” Colores

The music is inconsistent and makes it difficult to have a good study atmosphere. The music can be too loud. One minute it’s salsa music, the next, African drums and singing, and then jazz. Music is all over the place.

The coffee however is great. They are more flavorful and cheaper than Starbucks. They have a good variety of coffee drinks and have a great fish tank going!

The Cold Brew was delicious, not watered down at all. The crepe was quite good too. The customer service and atmosphere were terrific.

Iced latte is delicious, have many different flavors to add for coffees. Nice area to sit with friends and place to study.

Went on a Saturday afternoon to get an iced latte and had to repeat my order at the window 3 times. Then it came out a totally different drink, so I asked them to correct it. It still ended up wrong and way too sweet, but I just took it. It wasn’t a complicated order– iced vanilla latte. Disappointed with the service, especially when it’s a 5 dollar drink. I always try to support the local businesses, but next time, I’ll have to go across the street.

The customer service was truly atrocious. The boy who took my order kept getting distracted and kept calling me Jenny after I corrected him TWICE. I couldn’t bring myself to tip him and he took the receipt and told his coworker “no tip”. Hey buddies, if you worked to create a good experience instead of working for a tip– maybe you would get a tip? Try it next time. I hope the manager reads this and gives those two kids some more training. I will not be returning or recommending this place.

The perfect spot to hit up before hitting the road for a long day of hiking! Has a very extensive drink menu and just enough breakfast items to get you nice and full before kicking off the day. A solid coffee/breakfast spot all in all!

Busy with many college students working and studying, several choices of decent coffee, many dessert choices and plenty of space indoors and out, this place is thrumming with quiet activity and is worth several visits. They also have a teahouse nearby and are right across from a large chain coffee house.

Good drinks and a great place to post up for a few hours if you’re doing work/school stuff. It’s great they offer a decent-sized food menu too, but it’s not really somewhere to go just for food. I got the avocado BLT, and it was decent but nothing I couldn’t make at home. If I went back I might try one of the breakfast options (served all day). They also have dessert crepes, which intrigued me. Lots of seating and easy to spread out with COVID.

BEWARE: A barista scammed me at this location and tipped herself.

I regularly frequent this location and always order two large boba teas. I know very well my total is always $11.99.

Today, while going through the drive thru my order came out to the same $11.99 and when it asked for gratuity I declined. The young girl barista then replied “Oh, I’m sorry. I inserted your card wrong.” She quickly took the card reader and my card behind the drive thru window and re-did the transaction. When she gave it back to me it was only asking for my pin at that point. I entered it and caught a quick flash of the amount as she pulled it away: $13.78

When I was handed my drinks it was a different barista and I asked for my receipt, which they were conveniently not going to give me. Sure enough, it reads: Gratuity (1.79)

For years I use to love coming here for the mocha frappe, it was delicious! Now they changed the mocha powder to a charcoal mocha which gives it a completely different 🙁
Maybe have both as an option?
