Clarksville Downtown Market Reviews

I loved ALL the vendors. Some things were over priced. Just being outside at a farmers market in beautiful downtown Clarksville made it worth while. If you can’t find what you want at the Farmers Market just walk the downtown area and visit all the shops and restaurants!

A definite Go See event in Clarksville. The perfect place for food trucks, fresh herb plants, fresh vegetables, and hand made goods. There were so many unique things and vendors. Everyone was kind. Some of the prices were unbelievably good! $2 for an herb plant. Or 3 herb plants for $5. $3 for fresh home made salsa. I was in love with the prices of an herb plant vendor. Plus, she gave me a free cherry tomato plant. Places like this market make me smile in Clarksville.

The Clarksville Market is now open. This is definitely a must go to on your “To Do” for your Saturday morning. Everything from arugula to woodworking.

One of our highlights is the Twin Bridge Farm from Waverly, TN. Their mushroom assortment is incredible and diverse. Tonight is roasted chestnut over our garden fresh salad.

Need I say more…

I love the market! It has a great mix of produce and handmade vendors, with food trucks as well. It’s all family owned businesses there, from what I can see. I don’t think they allow advertising companies or MLMs to have booths, which is great because markets often get taken over by that kind of thing. I’ve been to the Nashville Farmers market and I genuinely like the Clarksville one better, it has a friendlier atmosphere and better prices for sure.

I do wish they had an alternative location for bad weather, the market only runs for a few months and it gets cancelled pretty often due to the weather with no make-ups or anything. I wish they could move it somewhere else under cover when there’s bad weather, I can think of a few potential locations that could maybe work.

Nice littke walk thru vendors with homemade soaps, facial care items and make up, fresh squeezed lemonaid, home made doggie treats, home made jams, jellies, cheeses, breads, pastries locally grown plants and fresh cut flowers, tons of fresh vegetables (great looking carrots, green beans, cabbage, cauliflower, beets, turnips, mushrooms tomatoes), herbs, spices and coffee beans. Hand made wooden toys and custom made wooden signs. Can also get hand sewn coin purses, keychains, purses, hot bowl holders, cell phone bags, cosmetic bags, etc. Two or three spots selling pork, beef, mutton, bacon, etc by the lb. Also has small petting zoo for the kiddies. Love the doggie watering stations through out the whole area. Food trucks offering goodies and coffee too. Definitely a very enjoyable morning walk.

So many booths and all the vendors showcase their items beautifully. Lots to eat or drink if you desire.

Always good to see small business owners following their dreams. The best part, it’s in out historical Downtown Clarksville area that is still growing!

For the time for ALL vendors to participate…it was a great for Tanzu. So glad to be back…it was a different experience in lite of our current circumstances…but people were most cooperative and all was well. Thanks be to God.
