I need to honest. I was not expecting all the much going here. The ratings are good, but it visually doesn’t look like it would be that great of coffee based on the exterior and some of the branding I saw.

Looks are deceptive.

This is a hidden gem! Very good coffee, great tea, and great breakfast sandwiches! I would fully recommend giving it a try! I will be back!

The first thing you notice is that the coffee is great here; it smells great and tastes great. Its small seating area inside gives the impression of a cozy coffee shop but it is more than just a coffee shop. There is a surprisingly good selection of breakfast and lunch items on the menu. Outside seating area is much larger than inside. It opens early at 6am when you most need a strong cup of coffee.

Let me start by saying I love this coffee shop- they make the best baked goods. I would chose them over any other coffee shop. However, I’ve found that they will only give you fresh baked goods if you order through doordash. If you order on other platforms prepare for stale pastries.

Amended. I will sadly not be ordering from higher grounds again. Not only did I get stale pastries, they missed items, and my order was delivered to the wrong house although I ordered through their spot on website. Bummed.

Such a cool coffee shop. Friendly service, clean and great atmosphere. The drinks were really good. It wasn’t too busy but the orders did take a little while to come out. Other than that, no complaints. I will make this a regular spot to visit.

A nice little coffee house in Gilbert, Arizona. Great coffee, awesome breakfast tacos and nice staff

Layla

The breakfast sandwich was good, but the coffee was basic. It didn’t have much of a unique flavor. The staff was nice. I would go again for the sandwich.

Found this place tucked away across the street from First Watch. The coffee was excellent and the food was just as good if not BETTER than First Watch. Plus we did not need to wait to be seated. I had the Loco Moco Acai Bowl and my fiance went with the more traditional pancakes, eggs, and bacon. We picked up a cinnamon roll to go. We went right back the very next day for some avocado toast, tea, and a smoothie. Definitely will make this a regular place if we can. Looking forward to trying lunch!

1st visit, I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and a sugar free white chocolate and raspberry coffee. It was excellent. My 2nd visit with my wife, she ordered an Italian soda and I ordered another Sugar free coffee; caramel. She loved it too. We stop in whenever we’re in Gilbert, usually getting our cars serviced down the road.

Cute coffee shop with a great menu of pastries and food. Cappuccino is delicious – not too bitter, not too sweet. The cinnamon roll was delicious! A little too much cream cheese for my taste, but hey, I’d rather have too much than too little. Quick and friendly service. Perfect, cozy areas to enjoy a good book.

Cute place but seems to suffer from poor management. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for my simple order. The cashier seemed completely untrained on using their cash register. She botched 6 orders in a row, including mine, typically swapping iced and hot beverage orders, forcing the baristas to remake orders and further deepen the que. There was clear tension between the baristas and the register as a result. Orders where barely called out, no music, the ambiance was mostly people complaining about all the problems. When my drink came, it was watered down and lacking in quality. Plus, I was overcharged due to the cashier’s errors. I wish them the best of luck.
