Good Bread Denver Reviews

Madeline Streiff

Not great. The pastries were fresh, but not well cooked. My twice baked pecan bourbon croissant was pretty raw inside, and it was unpleasant to eat. The baklava queen pastry had hard, inedible bits of something (looked like coconut shards, could have been pistacho shell) which really detracted from the experience. I had high hopes but the taste didn’t meet expectations. In addition, the person helping me was impatient and didn’t care to explain anything about the pastries. Would not recommend.

All their goods are freshly made and tasty. You can tell that they love the craft and take time to come up with flavors and textures that compliment each other. Because of that, each item tends to be on the pricier side. They change their items every so often so it’s always fun to see what they’re offering each week!

Their system works great and the pastries are simply incredible. We had a ham and greyere croissant, kimchi cheese Danish, and a few of the sweet pastries that I can’t remember the name of but they scrumptious. Some seriously strong coffee too.

Delicious!! I tried this bakery on Thursday by pre-ordering through their website. The bagels are fantastic and I picked up a pastry while I was there. Highly recommend this little gem on Colfax. Will be going back.

Amazing little local bakery hidden in an unsuspecting location. After my first visit I understand why people line up for their goods! Delicious croissants and doughnuts. The Cruffins are a must try!
Next time I’ll go earlier to make sure I get the flavors I want but not a bit disappointed with the tasty selection I got. I highly recommend the cardamom crueler

This bakery has done a great job creating a lot of buzz through social media (@goodbreadenver), but definitely delivering. We had the pain Au chocolate, ham&cheese croissant, powdered donut, and the baklava muffin. The croissant was really well done and I enjoyed the donut! I got there at 9 AM on a Sunday and there was a line, but it was even longer when I left. I’d expect to wait 10-15 min, but definitely worth it!

Innovative and yummy flavors. Consistently a long line. Rebel Bread (at farmers’ markets in the summer/fall and on Broadway year-round) is definitely better.

I had been stalking these donuts on instagram for a few months, so when they opened their storefront, I had to go. 100% worth it. The donuts are simple yet beautiful and simply delicious. My husband would sell the shirt off his back for their ham and gruyere croissant 🙂

Also, the fried chicken donut… Strongly exceeded my expectations!

Omg, the morning buns are so unbelievable delicious! Ditto for the pain au chocolate and the almond croissant. Best addition to the neighborhood!!! And the baguettes, grab one to go!

This is the best bakery I’ve been to in Denver.

The sweet pastries are perfectly sweetened…not too sweet but still indulgent.

The savory pastries are buttery and flaky and not too salty.

I still need to try the sandwiches and breads but they look very good.

Flavor options change frequently and so there’s always something new to try.

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious and top notch.
