Five Daughters Bakery | L&L Market Reviews

If I could give more than five stars, I would. These are the best donut-pastry I’ve ever had. The mixing of flavors and the soft flaky dough is delicious! Let’s clarify something, these aren’t technically a “donut”. These are more like a dessert pastry, fried, sugar-filled, heavenly piece of love. If you’re looking for a traditional donut, you may be a bit overwhelmed. They are a little expensive but it’s difficult to make cronuts especially as intense as these. I definitely recommend trying them. I do not like normal donuts because they make my stomach hurt but these I crave. I only have them once in a while but they’re worth it.

If there is a better made donut anywhere in the United States I haven’t tasted anything better than this place right here!!! From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave it’s a 1st class experience. The donuts are called 100 layer for a reason and although they are not cheap they are worth every penny. On our last day here we went and bought a dozen extra to bring brack to friends and family so they could taste just how good they are . Top notch and will definitely go back

All’s I had was a vanilla cream donut and was splendid. Lots of sweetness to say the least. Turns out that’s their most sold donut. Can be pricey though. Costs over $5 just for one. Curious to see their other offers

Took a spontaneous trip to Nashville with my wife and we love trying donuts in every town we visit. We found Five Sisters on yelp and I’m so glad we came here! It’s a small shop located inside the L&L market on the second floor. The donuts here was amazing! Each were so different! Some of them were made with a beautiful dough and others were cronuts! I love it when donut shops don’t make every donut the same and just change the topping, that gets boring. Their selection was so pretty and well displayed which made it easy to order.

We ordered an Oreo type donut, a chocolate sea salt, strawberry short cake, the purist, Huckleberry, and blue berry lemon. These donuts were all soo good! They were all unique and special in their own way, the donuts were each fried differently and the topics were amazing! The Huckleberry was soo soo good and o never get fruity donuts because I enjoy chocolate type sweets more but this was great.

Best donuts in Nashville!

If you like traditional donuts, then this is not the place for you. But if you feel feisty and want to explore some donuts off the beaten path then by all means try away. However, the donuts are very sweet and you may only want to try a bite of each. The lemon blueberry was by far my favorite because it wasn’t as sweet.

A must have. Beyond good. Donuts made with croissant bread!

They take around 3 days to make them, they are a specialty. Also the gluten free/paleo one is worth trying too.

I have been looking forward to coming back to Nashville for these donuts. Definitely a gourmet donut and in a class of their own. Best non traditional donut I have had. They sell out, so get there early. Check SoshMeed for flavors of the month.

This location appears to be more of a pop up location in a small shopping mall. Selection is a bit smaller. Donuts were good (kind of like a croissant consistency but a little denser) but extremely sweet. No intentions of rushing back but would probably try some other flavors in the future if I happened to be walking by. Staff was super friendly . Glad to say we got to check it out of nothing else!

The best donuts ever! This location seems to be a bit smaller than others but it’s worth the stop either way.

Amazing Cronuts! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went first thing on a Sunday morning and it was worth getting up early for. If your not sure what flavor to try first go with a variety of minis and be sure to try the seasonal flavors!
