Federal Donuts South Street Reviews

I thought the warm made-for-you cinnamon sugar donuts were sooo delicious but my boyfriend and mom didn’t like them as much as I did. I guess it just depends on your taste, but I loved how they are the perfect in-between type of donut: Not super cakey and also not super doughey but somewhere in between. The Vietnamese coffee was INTENSE so unless it’s really early in the morning, be aware that it may affect your sleep.. and if you are even a little bit lactose sensitive it WILL likely have you in the bathroom for a while later in the day… in the moment tho it’s dangerously tasty lol

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon’s donut has never met its match until now. This donut (served warm) is fluffy, the right amount of sweet, and perfect all around!

Delicious, positive first experience ordering the 3-piece chicken and donut meals. We sampled the plain, buttermilk and rubbed varieties. The server included 3 different dipping sauces (all good with some kick but not too spicy). The meals came with honey donuts which we devoured. The orders were ready in 10 minutes and the server brought it outside to us due to COVID. The freshness, flavor and texture of their donuts are worth the trip. You can give gift cards and there is some outdoor seating too.

These donuts taste Great!!!! Located right on south street this little spot has some tasty treats!!! They have chicken and Donuts !!! Be sure to get there early for some hot fresh donuts!! The donuts taste great and are just the right size not to big and not too small. There are several varieties to choose from. But each day they choose a few to freshly make each time there ordered. This place is great for a little snack or light lunch. They do close around 6 as they are not a dinner place. The donuts pictured are the cookies n cream, brown cinnamon and sugar, raspberry marsapand. They were all delicious . Especially the fresh ones hot and out of the freyer!!

Everything on the menu is amazing! Hot Fresh Donuts are available and are very much as described. The normal donuts, and the specialty ones are all one of a kind. It’s a must visit on this side of South St.

Loved this donut place. It was my first time in Philly and I had to finally try them. I ended up getting SIX! great flavors. The only weak link was the chocolate frosted – I thought the chocolate icing was weak and needed a deep kick of chocolate. But all in all great. Next time I’ll hit the chicken!

You folks filled a tall order for new customers! Chicken sandwiches are delish; Rooster sauce is easily cut to temper the crow; donuts..well they’re the best. Thanks for choice helps!

Delicious light and fluffy doughnuts. Definitely recommend getting the blueberry crumble flavor! The staff were also very kind and welcoming to us.

yummy coconut donut! asked for a cup of water with my order (which is free and common practice everywhere in PA, especially in a heatwave). the cashier repeated “cup of water” and quickly charged me for a water bottle and handed it to me without asking if it was okay that i was being charged. soooo that gave me a bad taste in my mouth…lol it’s just so easy to tell a customer what the price is of something or that they don’t give out free water. disappointed
