The owners are the kindest people I have ever met! This place gives me a lot of nostalgia and reminds me of the stores in my hometown! The food is delicious and steamy, I think it tastes much better than Starbucks! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! 😀

Very nice people that run the store. Everything is fresh place is really clean. They haven’t in usual array of donuts with some different toppings. One of my favorites is a glazed donut topped with Fruity Pebbles cereal. Absolutely delicious that fruity crunch on top of the donut really is something different you have to try.

It’s a very cozy shop that brings to mind my parents taking me to a local donut shop on weekends as a kid. I can easily say this gives off that exact same feeling of being a local neighborhood donut shop.
The service is always friendly and great! The food never disappoints…I’ve gotten both kolaches, croissants, and donuts. They always hit the mark, soft/fresh bread, and its always delicious.

This little shop is so cute, reminds me a places I’d go as a kid on the west coast. Both the bacon and sausage breakfast croissants were great, jalapeño kolaches were good also. The only donuts we tried were the plain glazed, not bad but looking forward to returning to try some of the more fancy donuts!

The donuts were soft and tasty. I liked that the filled donuts were filled on the spot, not sitting getting soggy in the case. The donut holes were soft and sweet. The customer service was excellent. I will be returning and recommending this store to everyone.

AMAZING customer service here! The shop is super clean, great variety of donuts and drinks, hot & strong coffee.
I’m vegetarian and really enjoy their potato breakfast tacos, sometimes they sell out but the lovely employees never hesitate to make me one! This is my #1 donut shop in north Austin!!

I don’t know what people find appealing about this place. A rude customer jumps in front of me- halfway through my order- and they halt my order and serve him?! Months later, I get a cup of coffee at 11AM and it was stale and old. I’m never going back to this place. BTW, there fritters are mushy.

I am regular of Donut Empire at least once or twice a week. I’ve been their customer for almost 4 years. I know the owner is very nice and kind to their customers. Whenever I walk in, they always greet me with such excitement and even throw a few free donut holes in my bag. However, last week I came in and noticed there were new employees who wasn’t as nice as the owner. So I came in again this week and that employee was gone. I love their donuts and kolaches. The best in North Austin.
