The Art Of Donut Reviews

My spouse ordered a yeast donut (I forget which flavor) and I ordered the blueberry cake donut. We both thought the yeast donut tasted fine but was pretty dense, as opposed to soft. We both loved the cake donut though! Coffee was good and they have vegan options.

Service was good and more than I expect from a donut shop. We sat outside and they came to check on us a couple of times.

We’ll be back and both try more cake donuts.

Updated second time:

Okay this time I know why they are so well known!

I absolutely loved these donuts! The donuts are big and fluffy, and super tasty. The flavors were super interesting and amazing! I actually really enjoyed the cake donut which are usually not my favorite.

My favorite this time around was blackberry lemon one. Simply wow.

The price is definitely high, and I think it could be a bit less, but it is still an amazing experience.

First time review:
Great selection of donuts made daily. Arrived somewhat near closing so the donuts weren’t as fresh as the would be in the morning, but still very good.

Tried the Nutella with crumbles donuts and the French toast one. The French toast was very good, with some crunch cereal and bacon. A good mix of sweet and sour flavors with crunch texture. The Nutella donuts was just as you would expect, a fluffy chocolate donut with some crunchy toppings. Nothing crazy, but very good. Overall really liked the place!

First time here at Art of Donut and will definitely not be the last!
The donuts were a good size, not to large and definitely not too small, like some other gourmet donut places.
The inside of the store was nice and clean and the service was great too!
The donut in my pic is the Sweet Pecan

Just kind of meh – the flavors are interesting, and the dough in the yeast donuts is nice, but they’re.. a lot of dough, so you can only really eat one donut and you’re full. I also got a cake donut that had uncooked dough on the inside, which was kind of disappointing. Expensive donuts for kind of meh quality.

Loved the donuts from this location! They are so delicious and hits the spot for my donut fix. The reason I did not give 5 stars is cause the bacon on my donuts were very greasy and did not taste well. Other than that I would definitely of back for more.

Good donut, yeast was fluffy and light. The Resse’s was my fav, the Blueberry cake was my wife’s. IMO, over-priced donuts though. $2.25 – $3 is steep for 1 donut. If I’m paying that, I better be like WOW, best donut ever! And I didn’t say that, so…

The wife say 3 stars, I give it a 4. Wish I could do half stars as it is a true 3.5 stars.

Stopped by before going to the Japanese Tea Garden. The donuts were really good. Two donuts for $6.50 is pricey, but every now and then it’s worth it. I would recommend going if you’re looking for something new.

Amazing donuts! The seasonal offerings are incredible but as a fan of Lucky Charms cereal since childhood, this donut was AMAZING! My husband loved the bacon donut almost as much as it loved the Lucky Charms one!.

Ran to Art of Donut for a quick breakfast last weekend. We got one blackberry lime, one Mr. O, one lemon frosted flake, and one of their specials of chocolate, caramel, pretzel. The donuts themselves were cold which was disappointing, not even just cold like not hot but had a coldness like they were refrigerated coldness. Out of the four we are felt the lemon frosted flake was the best. I will agree with some other reviews that it does seem to be more about the art of the toppings then the actual donuts, but they were tasty and a fun start to the morning. It’s certainly not your everyday donut, but also not a place I would run to unless it was a special occasion or treating myself.

They use a base donut and then dip and add topping for custom order. Donut is super soft and fresh. The sugar and cinnamon donut had a full solid coating all around. My son’s pink frosting & sprinkles was dipped for the frosting and only had sparse sprinkles on one side – other side was bare of sprinkles. Poor topping on his might be why he didn’t finish it. We also got an old fashioned- the one with a thick crust and coated in sugar. It was okay. The regular donut with cinnamon & sugar was the best. A little pricey, especially with how my son’s donut topping turned out, but I would try again.
