This location used to be great! The workers were consistently courteous and made things as ordered. But, this summer it has really gone downhill. Yesterday, Saturday June 10, the espresso machine and frozen machine were both down so only iced coffees could be made. Usually not a problem, equipment malfunctions happen, but a sign to indicate this could mitigate frustration as I waited in line for several minutes only to be told that they couldn’t make my order because their machines were down. Secondly, today, Sunday June 11, I went up to the counter at 5:43 pm (This location closes at 6pm on Sundays) and ordered frozen hot chocolate and a donut. I was told everything was shut down and I could again only order iced coffee. This was concerning, because there was no signage to indicate you have to get your order in some large amount of time in before closing. This location is inside the student learning commons at UNL – I purposefully waited to near closing (with still more than 15 minute buffer!) to get my last drink before they closed for the night. But, I was sorely disappointed. The employee for both days was Robert B.

I used to like this coffee shop. But it has gone downhill. The longer and longer wait times. The habit of having an incorrect order and getting an smug’ish attitude when asking to have a wrong order made right have gone past my limits of patience. I understand training new workers takes time. But when you get a look from the person running it, that says a lot more. There was one individual that worked at this establishment last summer that always had my order right and always remembered what I wanted….but he is no longer there anymore. And since, I have had my order made wrong more times than right. And have grown tired of wrong orders!!!

I came here this morning for an ice coffee, and it turned out that all people after me had almost got theirs except me.

I showed my receipt to stuff there asking why this could happen, she answered me “I don’t know but I could make you a large one” – this is so ridiculous that you placed your order, you waited as others waited, now your order is skipped and people who should be responsible for this told you they also have no idea, thinking the reason you are asking for this lag/miss is for a free update to a large coffee ?!

Such a joke for your business here!

I suggest anyone buying coffee there to be alert about what they order. Once you place your order, be sure to ask them when all people after you have already got their orders.

Update: Just happened again.

I ordered four donuts and a drink. It only took like 2 minutes to get my order but they only gave me half my donuts and they were the wrong donuts. The donuts I asked for were not available. They did not tell me so I could ask for alternatives. Rather, they changed me for four and gave me half. The half I got were not even right. They were also out of those ones post rely and had replaced the ones I ordered with ones that were close enough. What? Who does that?

I went back because maybe it was a one off. They did it again! Let people know if you are out of something rather than replacing it without telling them. Likewise, don’t just skip out of parts of the order if you’re out on it!

No complaints about the quality of my order, however, the fact that 15 people after you get their orders done and you’re still waiting is terrible. In the past few months, this had happened to me exactly 6 times.

All I ordered was a frozen coffee. They just skipped my order until I went up to them again and believe me it then took them 30 seconds if not less, to complete my order; so can’t really say it’s a difficult/complicated order.

All they say is “sorry about that” in a really disinterested and forced tone.
It’s outraging and irritating that this happens most of the times I go there, but as a student here on campus, I can’t really go to another dunkins.

She forgets my order, and after giving ten orders beyond mine, I asked politely, excuse me but you didn’t bring mine
Her response was super rode, and then brought it without saying any word even didn’t say thank you as usual .
