I hate to be that person, but I feel this is important. Why is the store open until 7 and they are closing 20minutes early? I’ve walked in a couple of times and wanted to order and they said they were closed. If you’re going to lie, at least lock the door and be more believable. Wasn’t going to ask for much but a coffee. Hope they do better because the service is always great besides that.

Convenient to downtown Newark but not clean, not kept well, the seats have been converted into a barricade formation in front of the cash register, so no chairs to sit (due to those who would sit inside daily and never leave), no bathroom (due in part to those who might drink alcohol or get high on drugs in the bathroom or overdose). The staff who work there must be mentally strong to see all that and deal with people who are not in the best mental health. Give credit to them. But it’s definitely not a place you can sip your drinks and coffee with donuts. The counters to stand to drink or eat are dusty w food particles. It’s good for to go items only. No charging stations for your cell phone either even though there are many wall sockets. They are disabled. There is usually a pan handler opening the door to this DD for change. Parking is very limited as you have to pay at a meter and watch the time to make sure you don’t get a ticket.

Accepts app orders and payment. Normally drinks are correct and ready upon arrival. Service can be slow during busy times (like most places), and the store does not have a clean or inviting atmosphere.

I come in to DD every morning before work! I order the same medium coffee with Oatmilk and it’s always fast, friendly customer service. The employees know their customers! Especially Hardy, Jafar, Aziz and Jaz they are amazing! There’s another lady but I didn’t see her this morning. Thank you guys for always showing the same customer service daily. The fact that you all greet each customer with the same service everyday!!! means a lot! Thank you

It’s an okay place. The location is a very busy area. The staff was okay as well. Prepared the order quietly in a reasonable amount of time (although I ordered on-the-go). I just wanted coffee in the morning but I may pass by some other nearby deli or coffee shop.
