Well I have to say it, “The Fat Kid in me was screaming for joy” after I bought a dozen donuts. The bear claw was light and very delicious with the apple cinnamon filing. Made up for having no apple fritters. But the light plain cake donut was suprising. No heavy oil taste to any of the 4 donuts I devoured yesterday. Just light fluffy goodness and the glaze was lightly coated as well. All the more worth the $11 spent because I had the bear claw on the side with the dozen. IF I was blind folded, I would say it was a KRISPY KREME donut and I used to have some from there a few years back when I lived in California. But these are lighter, not heavy at all and I like the lighter glaze coating on these donuts.
Fat Kid was crying over the enjoyment of having one yesterday since it had been at least 6 months in not having one. And I knew I had the best weapon if I was ever pulled over by CCPD. Hahaa!! But ut was well worth my purchase and first time buying from the donut Palace, time was around Noon. I would have better luck, if I was there earlier in the morning, some donuts he had sold out of when I arrived. Delicious Goodness!!!

It’s a donut shop there’s nothing exciting about what they serve. The donuts are consistent. As are the sandwiches. Unfortunately I can only give two stars because the horrible customer service that we frequently experience with the wife/co-owner. This morning she wouldn’t stop a FaceTime conversation she was having while I was trying to ask questions. The husband is completely opposite and a nice guy but the wife just lost my business. Rude, rude, rude.

The doughnuts are just ok. The wrapped meat and cheese biscuits that are supposed to be similar to a kolache were mediocre. The coffee and cappuccino is like gas station coffee and cappuccino. It’s fine in a pinch.

Pretty normal donut shop. Decent donuts and kolachies for the price. Nothing too special to say here except the kolachies MIGHT be a couple days old. Not going to say they are as I have no guarantee of this, but they are nothing to write home about.

First of all the owner was so, so kind to us. The selection was amazing, with both sweet and savory pastries. I had a spinach and feta pastry on a crescent type bread. It was phenomenal. I also had a raspberry filled donut. All the items tasted so fresh. Definitely a hidden gem. Perfect for the morning trip when you’re leaving the island.
