Had Mochi donuts at many different places and have to say this is my fav place. One star down as some are pretty sweet. My favorite ones so far are the fruity pebbles, strawberry, mango and matcha. Haven’t tried everything yet but will be back to do so.

Summary: Donuts are okay. A bit overpriced. Process can be managed better.

It is kind of shop in shop. They share the same counter with Yamachan. If you see the picture, they wanted to have people form two lines one for Yamachan and the other for Mochill but when I got there on a Saturday around 11:30am, there was only one line with customers for both places. The line was managed rather in efficiently and I had to wait for about 30min to get to the front. Considering the fact that there were less than 10 people who were before me, that the people were for different shops, this is a long time. I think they should manage the process better to shorten the wait time.

Theirs donuts are okay. When I first tried it, it was really good but over time (I had it 3 times in couple of months), the wow factor started to disappear. Might not go there as often anymore – especially since $2.80 for a donut is rather expensive.

I’m so glad they opened a location in South Bay!!! I’ve had mochi donuts from a number of places, and I so far, Mochill is my favorite. I really liked the fruity flavors (I’m a fruity guy, okay?) like the mango and strawberry. My parents really liked the black sesame because it wasn’t too sweet. Overall, very impressed with the donuts!

This is definitely going to become my go-to donut place for all events and occasions. The physical location was easy to find, parking was plenteous, and the pickup process itself was streamlined and pleasant.

This is my favorite kind of donut to eat in Japan, and I’m thrilled that I can find them here! The line was minimal as well as the wait for the box to come out. I love how springy and light the donuts are, and each flavor is pretty strong. Highly recommend grabbing a quick snack if you’re in Mitsuwa!

It’s like pon de ring in mister donut in Japan. Black sesame is the must have item.

This place is awesome, we are in Westfield Valley location. Such good flavors, try them all!

Wow this place was packed! I came here on a Friday night and it was peak busy time, it took about 40 minutes to get my order from start to finish and I got there at 6:20 pm right before closing.

I did really enjoy the donuts after I got to feast on them after the long wait. The best one in my opinion was the cookies and cream donut – it was surprisingly tasty and unique from the others. I also liked the nutella and the black sesame flavored donuts, they tasted just as you would expect.

The ones I didn’t like as much were probably the strawberry and mango flavored ones, they didn’t feel as fitting for a mochi donut and was a little sour to the taste.

Got the dark choco & cafe mocha. Not too sweet. Very different flavor profile to donuts. Not what I was expecting. Good but different. Very chewy because of the mochi. Friendly staff. Inside Mitsuwa market, at the food court area.

Good flavors. Bit on the pricy end though. Even buying multiple cupcakes/donuts, doesn’t change the price per significantly. I enjoyed the mochi cupcake, it’s basically a spongy cupcake. Quick service, the items are already pre-made.

If you’re new to the mochi craze and aren’t sure if you’re interested in trying dense, chewy rice cakes, these might just the thing for you. These light, fluffy, chewy, fried delights are easily divided into smol little bites for you to sample and share, and with a range of flavors that appeal to many, it’s hard to go wrong. For my basic peeps, I recommend the chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and strawberry. They, of course, have matcha, hojicha (my personal favorite), black sesame, as well as some seasonal flavors to keep us coming back.
Word of warning though, these are terribly delicious and will set a high bar when it comes to mochi treats :3
