Incredible prices for fresh donuts! Definitely worth the walk if you are in town. So many to choose from! We got the Homer and the chocolate dipped old fashioned. The workers keep the line moving so you are not waiting too long. Regardless, it is worth your wait & will visit again next time in town.

Donuts heaven!
You like donuts? You want donuts? This place is actually really great, and the donuts are very yummy!
Very friendly staff and their coffee is also great!
I suggest buying a nice hot cup of coffee with your donut! ☕️

The donuts themselves were pretty standard but the toppings were wonderful, both in flavor and in appearance. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The restaurant itself is not large so if you have a crowd, take out is the way to go.

Beautiful but mediocre donuts. The employees are warm and friendly, and the donuts are ENORMOUS! Spectacular presentation and really makes you drool to look at them. I ordered an old fashioned and a cake-batter. The old fashioned was gummy like it was made yesterday. An old fashioned should have a crisp exterior but this one lacked any texture at all. The cake-batter donut didn’t taste like anything — just sweet. Maybe I chose the wrong donuts, but I’ve never not finished a donut because I was bored with it.
It’s very clear that the chef really cares about taking care of his customers. His presentation is incredible, and his employees are really attentive and friendly, but maybe I’m just not the right customer for this place? I’ll need more than outstanding customer service to enjoy his donuts. I have to mark Donut Bar as not recommended.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Very helpful. Donuts were amazing. Definitely a must try place. Our kids had a blast. Chef Santiago actively involved in making drinks and serving customers. Love the variety of sizes and flavors of donuts.

Stopped at the Donut Bar for some of their vegan donuts while in town for Comic Con and I wish I had gotten more.
The four flavors they had were incredible and way better than I imagined they could be. The staff was helpful when it came to helping me pick out the right donuts and the prices were incredibly reasonable compared to what I’ve paid for similar donuts around the country.
They also kept well and I was able to save a couple for breakfast the next day. Don’t miss this while you’re in town!

4.5 stars. Worth the visit. The donuts are extremely beautiful and very amusing because they are so large. The service is great. My son got the homer, my husband got the carmelized pineapple, I got the strawberries and cream. My son loved his donut, it was as big as his head, which for a 7 year old is about as gourmet as it gets. I enjoyed the idea of the strawberries and cream, but for some reason it didn’t quite work for me. If we go back, I’d get the maple and bacon bar.

We tried four different donuts: Apple fritter, crème brûlée, big poppa tart (strawberry), and the Boston cream. The poppa tart was my absolute favorite! Definitely a 10/10! The other donuts were good but nothing special honestly.
The staff was very sweet and the service was fast even though they were busy.

This place is magical – we have made it a priority to stop in and order at least a dozen donuts every time we travel to San Diego. Super friendly, enthusiastic staff, and the donuts are outrageous – be sure to try the maple bacon
