What a great little donut shop with so many VEGAN options. The location doesn’t do them much justice. They have great donuts and finding a vegan donut shop isn’t easy. Definitely check out this shop if you love donuts, need vegan donuts, or you love the Simpsons, due to their decor. Over 15 different vegan flavors but they aren’t just vegan. The same flavors are often offered in traditional donut style. The cookies and cream, earl grey, Neapolitan, and lemon raspberry were our favorites. You can go wrong with the traditional Homer Simpson pink donut.

Lots of vegan donuts! The man working was very friendly and offered half off for the day old vegan donuts he had left. You could tell how much passion and effort goes into his vegan donuts and the unique flavors. The cinnamon crumble donut was the best in flavor and texture, so soft !

This unassuming business has some of the best vegan donuts I’ve ever had. I’ve been around San Diego and in and out of some of the hottest vegan food scenes and I can’t rave enough about these donuts. If you are in or around the San Diego area you should give them a try. Plus some of the kindest staff you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Genuinely happy to have you support them—it’s incredibly heartwarming.

Stumbled upon this shop after heading to this plaza to the vegan grocery store.
The man behind the counter was nice and went through all the vegan flavors and types. Thought it was weird that the trays under the donuts on racks were coated in different icing and sprinkles than the donuts that were on that rack…. I would think the trays would get cleaned or swapped out.
We picked up 3 different kinds of vegan donuts and the taste was OK but the texture was bad. They were hard/crusty and didn’t have any of that traditional donut texture. i wouldn’t come back here.

Went there to try it out. Not a vegan guy but wife is. We get there very nice customer service but the regular do nuts had very minimal frosting/ sugar very disappointed in that. Wife wasn’t a fan either her vegan do nut was hard. Will not be returning.

The vegan treats at Donut Panic are extraordinary, and probably not right for die-hard classic donut fans. The consistency of the vegan donuts are very unique when compared to traditional donuts. They are more akin to homemade donuts. The flavors of donut icing at this local shop are also exotic and interesting: rose, cardomom, Earl grey tea, lavender, and Thai tea. Try one or two before diving into a dozen. They can be very filling.

Give this place a chance! To start off, we didn’t go here on purpose. lol We had pulled into this plaza to get lunch nearby, and a friend decided she wanted to see what this “vegan donut” thing was about. The owner was so incredibly friendly, and excited to tell us all about the donuts (omg, there’s SO many good-sounding combos!) that we decided to get a few amd split them up to try a bit of each. So glad we did! We tried the rosewater almond, the fig-bacon, the thai tea and bavarian cream, and an apple fritter. I was so impressed! All were so tasty (the apple fritter was a little over cooked/crunchy, but still tasted delicious). I was so suprised at these vegan donuts. I’d definitely come again, even if just to chat it up with the owner. 🙂

Vegan donuts! And bagels with vegan cream cheese or butter option. The donuts are small but reasonably priced $2.00 for plain donuts. (Sprinkles, maple dipped, cinnamon). They have sit and almond milk. They would have had perfect stars but the appearance isn’t a strong suit. Friendly customer service.

Their vegan donuts are alright. They didn’t have any old fashioned cake donuts, which was disappointing. But the atmosphere was indie and fun. Would go there with friends, in the future.
