Doe Donuts Reviews

An all Vegan donut shop that has a variety of very interesting flavors!! Great tasting donuts that I wouldn’t have even guessed that it was vegan. Came by because a friend recommended the Portland Fog, their best known donut.

Food
So many different kinds of donuts to choose from. Of the ones I tried they were all so good, but the Portland Fog was my favorite. Other ones that I tried were salted vanilla bean, cheeseburger, and rhubarb rose. The cheeseburger was a seasonal item and was definitely interesting, but I’m not sure if I would try it again.

Atmosphere
Clean and presentable donut shop. There isn’t any space to sit down and eat so be prepared to take it out.

Pricing
Fair pricing for unique donuts of this size and for being vegan. You can also have the staff choose a half dozen for $20 (deals).

Service
Food and quick service. The staff was able to help me choose some fun flavors based on what I like!

Other
No seating area really so get ready to dig in at home.

A great place to find donuts! The donuts here are amazingly delicious that it doesn’t matter if it’s vegan. One of my favorite flavors here is the tiramisu and Portland Fog. The peanut butter old fashioned is also good. I also like their soft serve. The cannoli flavor tastes great and is good after a nice meal. Everything I’ve eaten here is wonderful and amazing!

In Portland, we’re lucky to have a number of incredible donut spots, and Doe is one you can’t miss! Their donuts are vegan and come in an ever-changing flavor rotation (plus a handful of menu staples that you can always count on). Come here for unique flavors you can’t get anywhere else.

Be prepared to wait in line for a bit on the weekends, but it’s 100% worth that wait!

We tried their peaches and cream, savory donut, and raspberry. Absolutely loved peaches & cream with cream being super light and peaches extremely fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Portland. A cute little donut shop with a variety of options and flavors. My stomach is full and so is my heart 😀

Doe has the best donuts with some amazingly creative flavors!! They also happen to be vegan, which is a bonus. Their French Toast donut and their Baklava(pictured) donut are particularly out of this world!

Doe donuts is one of my favorite places to go for donuts near me. Their sweet donuts are really good with a plethora of rotating flavors sometimes though consistency between donuts is off with some a bit more dense than other but delicious still. The savory donuts are such a joy to break up the idea of it having to be always super sweet. The staff is always wonderful and plus their drinks to go are amazing.

Very good donuts! As non-vegan person, you can’t tell that they’re vegan at all! The early grey (called Oregon Fog-featured on Somebody Feed Phil) is really good and they had a savory Elote donut which was surprisingly good.
My husband said he could taste the vegan cheese in the Elote donut, but it didn’t bother me too much with the seasonings. So depends on your sensitivity to that.

Service was friendly and we got there early, so no line. They only allow 4 people inside at a time and there’s only seating outside. A good amount of benches are outside, but it was a cooler morning, so we decided to take it to go. Great donut spot, I recommend!

These were the best donuts of my life. beautiful and well priced at around $5 a donut. An absolute must visit, staff was so friendly and helpful, location was easy to find with outdoor seating.

This isn’t just a donut shop. Don’t let the name fool you – this is a master culinary, donut/pastry work-of-art shop. The flavor combinations in each donut are VERY well thought out & cooked perfectly.

Hats off to your chef, because they’ve got sweet & savory MASTERED in the eloté donut.
I came back in & bought 2 more before heading back home.

The salted vanilla glaze is salted perfectly, just enough to get the zing, but not overly done. & I would say puts Krispy Kreme glaze donuts to shame.

This is a gem of a shop. I’ll definitely be back & would absolutely recommend!

I truly cannot put into how words I strongly I feel about Doe Donuts. I’ve had a variety of donuts now—I typically love a classic, uncomplicated donut, and the salted vanilla bean glazed donut perfectly fulfilled that craving. But when at Doe, I can never just get one. Other recent highlights include the Portland Fog, a year-round favorite for a reason, and the Marionberry glazed with an oatmeal streusel. It’s more than just donuts though—I often see (and enjoy) the Doe’s ice cream sandwiches all around town, but even better was stopping in for a pistachio soft serve.
To the people of Doe Donuts: please keep doing what you’re doing, because it’s perfection!
