Copa Vida Reviews

Super cute and spacious coffee shop. My buddy and I met up for morning coffee and pastries. Absolutely enjoyed my latte and almond croissant, and of course the company. Lots of seating and two separate rooms. If you’re looking to have a nice time, drink great coffee and people watch…then Copa Vida is for you.

Street metered parking and some free parking on the side streets as well.

Check it out. Support this local coffee shop!

Copa Vida is a great spot to grab coffee and food in old town Pasadena. The store has a convivial vibe with ample indoor seatings that are great for friends meeting up or working by yourself, there are a few tables outside too.

Coffee at Copa Vida is on point, but food is the key reason I come here from time to time. Their breakfast sandwich is fresh and tasty; the burrito is even better with flavorful mix of eggs, sausage, and hash in thin tortilla wrap.

TL;DR: If you’re coming here for the coffee, you’ll be happy. If you’re coming here for the food, your mileage may vary.

If you go here for the coffee, you’ll be delighted. The latte and Mocha that I received were just as good as I had heard. However, the Avocado Toast that I ordered ($11) was good except for the mountain of arugula added to the top. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate arugula, but this place added so much to the toast, I couldn’t really taste anything else.

The food was exceptional! Stumbled into to this place while driving through the downtown Pasadena. We saw a line that went out the door and couldn’t resist.
– The french toast was a classic; fluffy yet crunchy on the sides, sweet yet not overwhelming, and it had such a beautiful presentation.
– The bacon burrito was scrumptious; a hearty and flavorful delicacy. The arugula and the hash browns were a great pairing.
– The Croque Madame was incredible; everything fit so perfectly. The tomato soup was probably the best soup I’ve ever had for a side dish.

i had heard from so many people and positive online reviews that this is the spot to visit in pasadena but was totally underwhelmed. the breakfast burrito was mediocre, felt overpriced and didn’t come with anything on the side. the agave iced coffee was ordered to be half sweet and it came out like it was all sweetener. the barista was able to make it again but i wouldn’t recommend visiting as it does get extremely packed with a hipster crowd inside and out.

I liked this cafe.
Parked in the schoolhouse parking garage across the st. first 90min free.
Long line down the sidewalk on a weekend morning but moves along.
Lots of seating with outlets wifi, comfortable seating. Clean bathrooms.
Nice vibes and chill music.
I would come again to grab coffee w friends or studywork inside.

Golden Chai Latte is very fragrant and yummy! Food is also yummy. I came here at 8:30 am and it was pretty empty but as 9 am came around it got really packed quickly.

This was a great breakfast spot to hit up early morning before heading out into the city. I was staying at a hotel nearby for a wedding and wanted to try this place out after looking up reviews.

The restaurant is spacious and well organized with cute merchandise, coffee and teas for sale near the register. I picked up a couple of the glass Copa Vida cups for my iced coffee at home.

I ordered the Chilaquiles for breakfast with an iced coffee. It’s was so good and not just because I was starving. It was actually really great food. Just the right amount of spices, delicious verde sauce and queso. I ate my portion and the rest of my partners order!

When I come back home to Cali, I will be stopping by here for more coffee and yummy breakfast.

Had the food options here. Ordered the jackfruit rice bowl, vegan tofu breakfast sandwich and their classic avocado toast. All three items were very tasty and filling.

The lavender matcha is extremely good. Not overly sweet. I didn’t add extra sugar. It was perrrfect! Much better than Starbucks. The inside area is really nice. And much bigger than you would imagine. It has different sections. Computer friendly. A lot of people go to work there. Nice environment. Friendly staff. Has outdoor sitting too if you want to catch some sun
