I always crave Calandras because they have the best cakes! I buy them for friends and family and businesses I work with. My favorite is tres leches w fruit. The cream is fluffy and light and the cake is moist. You can’t get a more fresh and amazing tasting cake than that. It’s hard to find this anywhere else in the world. Calandras is one of a kind and their quality is always amazing. No matter where I am I always buy their cakes and I will fly them to where I go to enjoy it.

The quality and presentation of this cake is sad. The bottom layer is larger than the top. It look like they was trying to fill the gap in. Very little strawberries & bananas. The cake purchased in September was no better. Cakes not like they used to be. ShopRite Cakes are much better and cost less.

I love Calandra’s as much as any North Jerseyean! I can confidently order ANYTHING and I know it’s going to be amazing every damn time. Those complaining of price don’t know quality. I’m just glad it’s 45 minutes away or I’d be the next episode of My 600lb Life. Will always be a happy, returning, 3rd generation customer! Oh and the dispensary is a few blocks down… just sayin’.

So yummyyyy!! This is the best stuff I have had in a while. Whenever I get a cupcake or cake from anywhere, it turns out to be too sweet for me. This one was just the right flavor. Sorry, I took a bite out of both before taking the pic I ordered thw tiramisu and the chocolate mousse cupcake and both were delicious!

Made my daughter’s birthday cake two years in a row. The cake always looks nice but does not taste fresh at all. Very overpriced for the quality of the cake. You are better off ordering from Shoprite.

They’re getting really cheap on quality and higher on the price. I had the incredible shrinking tarts! I’ve seen these shrink two times now this is ridiculous they don’t even fit in the paper and the fruit are literally falling off of them because the custard cup is not big enough. The custard wasn’t even nice and fluffy like it usually is. It was more thicker and pasty and to I paid $2.50 for each of them! I remember paying 75 cents and then at one time $1.25 then $1.50 but they were much bigger than what they are now. I’ve always looked forward to grabbing these little treats whenever I’m in the area but next time I’ll just drive by. I used to get all of my cakes there for every occasion but now the prices are so high and I’m worried about how the quality would be if I bought another one. But I will say that the customer service is great.

Ordered my Father’s 90th Birthday Cake from Calandra’s and everyone commented on how delicious and fresh it was. I got the vanilla cake with custard, bananas and strawberry filling with whip cream. It was out of this world!! I won’t be ordering cakes from anywhere else!!
