We hosted a small family wedding this past week. Everyone was SO PLEASED with the wedding cake! It was DELICIOUS! I had emailed the cake decorators with specific instructions and they did a spectacular job! The cost was so reasonable!! We will definitely order any special occasion cakes from Eastgate Buskins again!

I always get my cakes from buskens. They knocked both of my cakes out the park! I can’t think of the lady that helped me but she’s always there and sits to the left when standing at the cake counter! Can’t wait for my next cake.

Good selection of cookies, pastries and more. Friendly service and decent prices for baked goods. They are not gourmet by any means, but tasty nonetheless.

My favorite bakery when I’m in town. Today I wanted to reward my team for their hard work. Made a quick visit to Busken’s Bakery and donuts and danishes where all on sale….. I couldn’t stop myself and purchased 3 dozen ( I only came for one). Plus and extra one for myself. Staff is wonderful, the shop is spotless, I highly recommend! Thank you for showing you care about your customers.

I visited this location a month ago on my way back to GA. My visit home was very difficult as we made the decision to place our mom in hospice. Upon entering the store I immediately started looking for a chess pie as I have not been able to find one that meets Busken’s standards in GA. The young lady behind the counter stated they did not have any out but would ask the manager to check the freezer. They had two and I wanted both. The manager took care of my order and added in my cup of coffee. I don’t know what it was that day but the three people who assisted me must have sensed something. They were so nice to me and I was literally on the verge of tears but kept the smile on my face while I remained in the store. Once I was back in my car and pulled away, the tears just flowed. I just wanted to say thank you for the way you all treated me. The pies made it back to GA and one was enjoyed by all, the other was placed in the freezer. Thank you, again!

Definitely, SHOULD NOT BE MISSED if you are visiting Cincinnati. This place surely makes one of the best, if not best, donuts in the area.
It is a 24 hours bakery but the best time would be during the day when the items are absolutely fresh and you see more options as well. The peculiarity about the donuts and other bakery items here is that aesthetically they are not at all appealing, except for few. However, in terms of taste, they are absolutely delicious. Their Old Fashioned donut is definitely to be tried. Apart from that, we tried few other items like Coconut Danish, Samoa donut and muffins like the Zucchini Nut and Applesauce Raisin. We have tried danish at many places but this Coconut Danish is the first danish we actually liked. Samoa donut was amazing and the toasted coconut was giving a very good crunch to the donut. While Zucchini Nut was great, Applesauce Raisin had a heavy flavor of cinnamon which kind of shielded the other ingredients. It was also slightly more on the gooey side.
In general, for the donuts, they are just in a perfect balance – not so crumbly that it breaks and not so gooey that you have a hard time breaking it properly.
However, I am not a fan of their coffee. You won’t miss anything if you skip it.
We love this place, especially for the kind of amazing donuts they make, keeping aside the aesthetics, and a great price. Most of the donuts are between $2-$3. So, you can try many donuts under $10 which is always great to know.

There are fancy bakeries – which are needed for special times and then there is Busken for all the other times. Like, when you just need a donut or a brownie. What’s great about this Busken location is that it’s open around the clock. Also, treat yourself to some tea cookies. Yum.

Been ordering cookies from here during last 15 years and really loved their skinny cookies they had years back for the Christmas season but they haven’t had them since . Crowded around 2pm on a Thursday. Picked up 2 boxes smiley faced cookies and 4 donuts s jelly filled a cream filled and 2 cheese things. The donuts were alittle dry not soft either. The lady that helped me was sweet and she has worked there for 36 years!!! The cookies were going to my uncles in S Carolina for the week. They were great and didnt last but 3 days.
