I went to Bothof’s Bakery for a 65th anniversary cake for my parents. The staff was very helpful with helping me decide on the exact cake that I wanted. When I picked up the cake I was very happy with the finished product as it looked beautiful and was exactly as I had ordered!!! Everyone was very impressed with how the cake looked and I even had strangers ask me where the cake was from when I was setting up for the event, and I was very happy to share that information. What was even better was the way the cake tasted…so moist and rich!!! EVERYONE at the party commented on how wonderful it was. I will not hesitate to recommend Bothof’s Bakery to anyone and will certainly be a return customer myself!

Spent just under $300 to have an array of baked goods & a custom cake delivered to our home for a Baby Shower… worth every penny. The pastries were delicious (especially their Cannolis) & the cake was very moist with the perfect amount of frosting.

Max did an incredible job on a cake for us for a 50th birthday. I had a little “far fetched” request and he met the challenge without hesitation. The cake was incredibly delicious and the customer service was second to none. I would recommend Max’s Cookie Company without hesitation!

Great cakes here with a pretty good selection of other baked goods. A little bit pricier than your local supermarket cakes, but worth the extra $$ in my opinion. I’ve walked in and bought, in addition to ordering cakes over the years and I have yet to have anything other than a delicious, beautiful cake. Sometimes around the holidays they will run out of pre-made cakes in the display case. So if your looking for a cake around that time it’s best to put in an order ahead of time.

I ordered a carrot cake for a co-worker because that is her favorite, and it was simply THE BEST carrot cake I have ever had. It was beautifully decorated, moist and loved by all. Thanks Max Bakery!

Went into this bakery on a Saturday and the case was dirty and the baked items looked old. Also disappointed in the fact that the owner told me he still uses John Bothof’s recipes but yet didn’t have any of the baked goods that John was known for. My mom worked for John for 20 years. It was such a disappointment to see his name still on the bakery but not producing quality baked goods.

I herd so much good things about Max’s Cookies,
When we planed our Wedding we picked out a beautiful Topper with additional matching Cup Cake’s
Our Wedding colors were Red, White,
And Black , we paid extra to have Max
Do the delvery, and set up while all along staying in contact by phone about exactly what we wanted,
The day before the Ceremony I spoke with Max regarding the cake table we were decorating and our theme.
We agreed on setting up the two tiers
The Topper and one other , and put the rest in back for the servers to bring out as needed,
I stoped a Max’s bakery the Saturday morning before the Wedding to see our cake ? Needless to say, Max looked pist off beause I stoped by to take a look , they were not ready he told me.
Not thinking anything was wrong I went about my day preparing to be Married.
After the beautiful Ceremony we arived at our reception and was exited to see our Wedding cake, WOW WE WERE IN SHOCK . . . ALL OUR DECORATIONS WERE CHANGED ?
MAX TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO CHANGE THE THEME WITCH WAS A COUNTRY SETTING IN GREY, AND OUR CAKE WAS RED, GREEN, WHITE,
MY WIFE AND I WERE SO DISAPPOINTED . . . . . OMG..
Don’t get me wrong they tasted great
But for a memory to last a life time
he really scewed up.
So if you decided To have Max Do your Wedding make sure your there when he delivers and sets up , and watch his bad attitude if it’s not his way. Thanks Max , this is my memory
