Biscuit Belly – Nulu Reviews

5 breakfast! Ordered the iced coffee with oat milk and sugar free vanilla syrup (excellent options and superb taste- thank you for the nontraditional options on the coffee!), loaded tots, the gravy train (SAY YES TO THE CHOCOLATE GRAVY), and two breakfast sandwiches. The G.O.A.T. sandwich had sweet pepper jelly and goat cheese, it was to die for! Definitely will be back! Loved the vibe and the workers were helpful and friendly. Go early to avoid the crowd! Pictures speak for themselves.

Haley was very friendly and helpful at the front counter. Wide variety of biscuit sandwiches, from basic to gourmet. Quick and friendly service. Ordered Brisket Biscuit and Mama’s Boy with a side of Hot Brown Gravy. Dark and spicy bloody Mary! Local atmosphere, very laid back.
Food was great!!

The biscuit belly is in a quiet part of town. They have ample seating inside only. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the Rockwell supreme. It looked delicious and the presentation was appealing. It’s a sandwich served on a flaky buttermilk biscuit. The sandwich consisted of bacon, egg, cheese and fried chicken with a gravy. My husband was all smiles as he ate his sandwich. He also ordered a chocolate mocha which was beautifully presented. Are you on the other hand very limited to what I could order because of my food allergies. I am gluten intolerant and allergic to any type of pepper. So I ordered eggs and a fruit parfait.

Oh my, what a fantastic breakfast for a slow and relaxing weekend day. This was a wonderful surprise in downtown Louisville, my friends and I visited before we walked to Rabbit Hole Distillery. The Fire in your Belly sandwich and biscuit holes with bourbon cream sauce hit the spot.

I would 100% recommend it to anyone who needs a good breakfast meal.

Great food. Busy, but staff were 125% customer service based. Willing to help and satisfy every customer’s needs. This was our first time, and hopefully not our last. Well worth the the price and visiting while in Louisville, KY.

Visiting downtown Louisville for a conference and randomly went here as a Plan B for breakfast after the other place I wanted wasn’t open. Greatest happenstance ever! One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious food, great service, and a fun modern southern atmosphere.
The whole menu is based around these big amazing biscuits- just the right amount of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I got the Frenchy (yes, french toast made out of biscuits). I was a little sceptical at first, but it blew my mind with the very first bite.
I went to this place by accident, but now I’m trying to figure out how to go back again. It might just be worth the 6hr plane flight just for this breakfast.

I shouldn’t even have to leave a review. Just look at the pictures of their food items! It’s as delicious as it looks. The lineup was a concern, so make sure you have plenty of time if you’re looking to eat here, especially at peak breakfast or lunch time. But otherwise, it was a great experience!

Staff was really nice. Appears to be in an up and coming neighborhood. Biscuits were yummy and bonuts didn’t even need dipping sauce. I even got an iced mocha and it was yummy. It’s never yummy from a place other than a coffee shop. I was very pleased. Glad we decided to give this place a chance while in town.

Pretty nice restaurant. When you enter you grab a menu and actually purchase your food before sitting. Once you pick your food they’ll give you a number marker to place on your table. They are pretty quick to bring the food out. They do serve alcoholic beverages but the regular soft drinks are more vegan based. The brisket biscuit was full of flavor yet light at the same time. Only thing I would change would be the cabbage it was a bit too crunchy yet didn’t have any flavor so I had to pull all the flavor from the meat. Yet I still would Oder it again Because the flavor of the brisket was lovely. I also received a free order of bonuts for signing up for their email list. The bonuts were lightly also topped with a sugar/cinnamon and the bourbon cream cheese to dip them was a hit to me. It’s was the right amount of sweet yet not overly sweet. Overall it was a nice little experience. This place is pretty busy yet small so be prepared to wait around for a table if they are busy. I actually came back a second time and tried even more food because the biscuits are bomb. So for the second round I had the hot brown and the frenchie both were great choices. I actually tried the fried green tomatoes and they were great. This place has mastered being seasoned but not over seasoned.

Every place that has a food or beverage item in their name needs to do that item justice. Well Biscuit Belly didn’t disappoint. They were absolutely delicious and all of the flavors of their biscuit sandwiches were very well balanced. The biscuits had the right amount of crisp and fluff. The chicken was flavorful and complimentary of all of the other ingredients.
