Service was great! The people working at the counter were friendly and helpful. When we went, it seemed better for takeout because all of the seats were filled. We had a frozen spiked lemonade which was tasty, but not strong. The cookie was my favorite part. It’s nice for a quick bite and drink.

Great little spot for a quick bite and a drink. They have a nice variety of coffee beverages, frozen drinks, and beer/wine. Food options include bakery items, sandwiches, parfaits, smoothies, etc.. Not a ton of seating, but it’s quite cozy if you find a spot. Baristas are skilled and friendly. Prices are very reasonable.

Slowest Internet on earth. Not in Charleston to waste time online but wife needed to finish a grad school paper and so I thought I’d get some work done. At $10 to $20 per transaction this place can afford faster Internet. Asked the guy at the counter who said it’s bad in this building to which the other mentioned it’s been bad for a couple of weeks.
Excellent latte, sadly the blueberry muffin was as dense as the scone and had little to no taste. Been coming here for years and overall I use to love it but it seems to get worse every time we come.

Great coffee in a chill spot to duck into after walking around the city.
I tried the Blackberry Cobbler Latte and I was very surprised how perfectly they made the fruit flavors work with the coffee.

Workers were amazing! Their coconut macaroons were delicious!! But their iced latte was so nasty! Definitely not getting coffee here again.

I didn’t know ice coffee could taste so bad. The bacon egg and cheese I received had a rubbery cold microwaved egg on it, it was bland and dry. The cookie wasn’t even good. And to top it all off, the woman who made my drink gave me a broken cup and was upset she had to pour it into a different one. I’m surprised by the amount of positive reviews. Worst bakery I’ve ever been too and I’ve been to Dunkin Donuts.

Nice little shop, we had panini sandwiches with a frozen lemonade. Tasted great but I thought it was a little over priced($9.95 for just the sandwich). The total was $32 for the two of us. They also had pastries but once again I thought the prices were too expensive for the items.

I can only go by our experience, but we think Bakehouse is a nice establishment. Good coffee, friendly service, great fresh scone. The restroom was reasonably clean. We’d be happy to come back again.

Ok, I am a huge cookie guy. I rarely meet a cookie that I do not love. However these are some of the vest cookies I have ever eaten. They are crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside. Tried the chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin, the lemon bar – all excellent. I highly recommend.

Ran into this little cafe after visiting the pineapple fountain. Great small cafe! Coffee was delicious as well as their sandwiches! Both the ham and chicken sandwiches came with a hefty portion of real “homecooked” ham & chicken. No cold cuts here! This was the real thing! Really enjoyed our breakfast while seating outside people watching
