We drove here from Indianola and they did not disappoint! We have been looking for thr best donut shop within the metro and Ambrosia is by far tje best yet. We tried the glazed, kronut, Apple fritters, and frosted and each were done to perfection! And to top it off we felt welcome with amazing customer service!

The donuts here are so good. They are soft and fluffy and melt in your mouth. I ordered some donuts and the lovely lady who checked me out added some donut bites for free! The donut bites were actually my favorite out of everything I got ironically. It’s very clean and cute inside the store. I will definitely be going again soon.

We went here after seeing their great reviews online. We didn’t get there until 11:30 and they weren’t completely wiped out but the earlier you get here the better.
I love how they have Donuts they fill on the spot so you can select your favorite filling amd no it’s fresh.
One complaint. I get Donuts for the week at work. We bought them Sunday and by Monday my powdered donut wasn’t powdered anymore but a sticky substance. Still good, but was surprised as I do this often at other Donut shops and this doesn’t happen.
The glazed croissant did the same thing. Great place if you are going to eat them all at once but I will probably go elsewhere if I’m trying to buy Donuts for the week.

The aroma of sugar pours out the door, I can smell it’s goodness as I get out of the car and walk in. Lots of unique options, locally owned by a Cambodian family, friendly and affordable. Try the cronut!

Have you tried this place yet!?! Hands down the best donuts in Iowa!!! There is not a donut shop that beats this place, not a one! Super friendly staff that remember you when you come back. Just make sure to get there before 1 and they are not open on Mondays. A Must try for any donut lover!
