Alessia has been a favorite local bakery of our’s for nearly a decade. The other day I ordered my husband’s birthday cake and I had the opportunity to work with Chrissy. When I went to pick up the cake on Friday, Chrissy was an absolute delight. She has been there for over thirty years and her customer service is out of this world. 🙂 This Hummingbird cake was so delicious! Thank you Alessi for a great experience!

We got our wedding cake and dessert table treats from Alessi and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Our lavender lemon cake was delicious and all of the small desserts were great too! The cake tasting process was super simple and the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend!

First time here we came for their 110 birthday celebration and bakery specials. We had Cuban sandwiches, brownies, macaroons and eclairs. All the food was delicious especially with their ice coffee and fresh squeezed lemonade.

Our lunch and treats were amazing. We especially enjoyed the Hand Carved Cuban. The King Club is unhinge your jaw HUGE you could share with a friend or two. Our favorite bakery treat was the Creme Brulee Bread Pudding. We tried the Scachatta it wasn’t our thing It reminded me of spaghetti sauce on a breadstick maybe it’s better reheated. I’d love to give them five stars but two issues needed addressing first the soda machine was on the fritz – with the drain backed up and it was pouring uncarbonated straight syrup yet instead of marking it out of order they still sold me a drink cup. Second the bathrooms were gross, out of tp, and the ladies room has a giant crack in the door that made my group very uncomfortable.

I recently hosted my wedding weekend in Tampa and hired Alessi as our cake vendor for our rehearsal dinner and breakfast/lunch vendor for day-of wedding. I HIGHLY recommend having Alessi Bakery as your vendor for your special day. Everything was on time, accurate, and delicious! The staff is the absolute BEST at their job! I only have amazing things to say about my wedding weekend with exceeded expectations!

The hand carved cuban (pressed) is the way to go. I would ask for more pickles next time, their pickles are good but don’t really “show up” in the sandwich and would have taken it over the top.

Picked up the BEST Tiramisu cake on the planet for a co-worker. The whole office asked “where did you get this?!” Alessi earned 10 new fans after ONE bite! There are usually 5 cars before 8AM so get there early! Fantastic Cuban coffee and all types of Latin postres, dessert, available. Don’t miss out on a West Tampa staple!

4th purchase in 18 months, 690 miles from home. We order about a month out (showing a couple examples of what they create!!!) Everything is beautifully made!!! Everything tastes delicious and their prices are unbeatable!!! Love this place. UPDATE 5 purchases in 19 months. Came to Tampa for Son’s promotion and HAD TO GET an ALESSI CAKE (and cookies)!!!!

Alessi Bakery is all around fantastic! They were on top of everything and always communicated with us and were very helpful from start to finish. We wound up with a 3 tier lemon cake with a raspberry preserve filling and a buttercream frosting. Our guests raved about our cake! It truly was the best we’ve ever had – and we’re incredibly picky when it comes to food, especially dessert. It was a part of our special day we’ll always remember and we can’t wait to go back for our anniversary to order a small version of it!

Alessi is Tampa’s gem when it comes to flawless bakeries and incredible pastry and cakes! Most of all though beyond the crème brûlée bread pudding which is out of this world, the bakery and special orders are run by the most fabulous lady whose name is Lauren. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter’s bday cakes are behind special every year. I typically get the decor pieces ready and Lauren makes the most yummy cakes ever and then helps me put the pre ordered decor on but as you can see in the photo, she makes things look way extra special. We just love her and her flawless work and won’t go anywhere else! Thank you for your kindness, service and for sharing your incredible talent Lauren!
