The bakery decor is amazing. But pastries taste odd. The lemon cake (most expensive) and banana bread flavor was off & had spongy texture. Sweet potato (least expensive) donut was light, fluffy, and tasted good. It’s a recession. No other customers were there. Alot of competition. My opinion is that she should create a Niche like host tea parties to better utilize the space. Then she should select 3 most popular pastries to serve (less costly inventory).

One of the best and most creative bakeries I have visited while here in KC. The owner has an inspiring story and I was honored to finally meet her in person. She recommended the grasshopper cookie and it was a perfect recommendation indeed(got one to go too). The sweet potato donut was light and wholesome. Lastly, the famous gooey ooey butter cake was loaded with sweetness and a creamy texture. Thanks for the hospitality and providing me with a map of the area. Extremely kind. YUM a boutique bakery is in my top three bakeries for the KC area.

Great shop for sweets that taste great without giving you a crazy sugar rush. Professionally made and kind environment.

Also great place for treats to bring to a party to impress your friends!

Cute, clean, and affordable bakery. It was in perfect walking distance from my hotel. If I arrived earlier I would have tried a larger selection of treats! Will come back next year when I’m in town again.

What an amazing bakery. It’s visually gorgeous, bright, clean, very hip with a small section dedicated to selling local and vintage gifts. I had a cookie, a piece of cake and a cupcake… Oh my Lord, this bakery isn’t messing around. Sweets to die for. The owner (Anne) was sweet, funny, personable and that woman is an amazing baker.

The entire place was extremely clean, I noticed the health inspector gave Yum the highest rating a food service establishment can receive. Very impressive.

I will be back.

Just got some treats as gifts today (and some for myself). From the pastries, cookies and cakes to the coffee… A+ all around. Excellent local source for gifts and a variety of baked goods.

Small bakery with some really great treats! Macaroons are delicious and lemon bars are soft and tasty and have a good consistency. Also got the Carmel brownie (with homemade Carmel!) and the oatmeal cream pie. Would definitely recommend this place. Prices are reasonable as well.

I am a big Fan. Love the sweet potato doughnuts, chocolate bread pudding, banana bread and other treats. I usually stop in on weekends for a weekly supply.

This bakery is in my neighborhood, I went in yesterday for a cookie for my friend’s birthday, and came out with more than said cookie, because everything looked so good!! I am currently eating a piece of the best flourless chocolate cake that I have ever eaten, and I have had a lot of flourless chocolate cakes in my life to compare it to. It’s so good that I literally might cry when I’ve finished it because it’s all I want to eat, ever, and I’ll have to wait a couple hours until they open for the day to go get another piece. The shop is SO CUTE, too!!

The owner is fantastic, the treats are wonderful, what more could you ask for? I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by for a bite or for one of the classes they host. I will be back in the future.
