This is a quaint little ice cream shop with the added bonus of coffee. The polar espresso is delish if you like the taste of coffee. The staff is very friendly & helpful in making selections. They also make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door. So many flavors of ice cream to choose from & they offer samples which is always nice. You can order a flight also if you’re indecisive & get 4 different flavors.

I really enjoyed my time there. The coffee was good, and the ice cream was FABULOUS. And the people working there were so friendly. Also it’s a very cute interior, and the back patio is so peaceful. There are items such as paintings and jewelry for sale from local/small scale artists/designers.

Amazing gem hidden behind an unassuming facade in Lakemore. When you step in the doors, you are greeted by the delectable smells of freshly roasting coffee, warm homemade pastries and sweet churned ice cream. The coffee bar has an amazing selection, including a relaxing coffee with lavender–my favourite, delicate in taste and color, rose essence coffee, and a variety of specialty mixes and concoctions. Warm, flaky pastries, many gluten free, are readily available in a side case. Next to the coffee bar is an I’ve cream counter the likes of which I’ve never seen. Flavors such as carrot cake, Apple pie and peanut butter and jelly are served up in old fashioned iced glass with whipcream and a cherry. Once you have your goodies, there are tables and soft comfy chairs to enjoy your repast. The theme here is Hygee, or comfortable relaxation. There are also souvenirs such as t shirts, jewelry, coffee and hats. An added bonus is the loyalty club, which provided me with a free coffee after just one visit. This place really is extraordinary. If you live in Akron, or are just passing through, definitely stop in for a visit.

It’s nice to see a trendy place like this in Springfield Twp! Amazing coffee! I had the spicy mocha, which was a delicious chocolate peanut butter cafe latte with cayenne pepper for kick. My wife enjoyed the honey almond iced latte, and was happy that they offered oat milk as a milk substitute. The interior is cute and cozy, and the little terrace on the back was a nice touch. We’ll be back!

Pretty good ice cream. We didn’t have anything else. The parking up front is a bit of a pain. Not sure if there is parking in back or not, but I’d hope so, because there’s not much up front. Service was friendly and fast. Place was pretty busy Saturday when we went. If we head out that way again we’ll probably stop in again.

Stumbled upon this picturesque coffee shop when my other favorite was closed for the day. This coffee/icecream shop is quite charming with lots of unique flavors to choose from. The staff were also extremely patient and helpful. Will definitely be pinning this address for future coffee dates/dessert indulgences in the future.

Nice ice-cream / coffee shop. Great service and a large selection of ice-cream and specially coffee drinks. Nicely decorated location. There is plenty of seating and a porch/ balcony seating area for outdoor seating. The prices are in line for a more high quality coffee shop. Be aware at this time traffic conjestion in the area because of the road construction… IT’S BEST AT THIS TIME TO PARK BEHIND THE COFFEE SHOP.

Thankful for our friends that introduced us to your establishment. We built ice cream flights for all. The chocolate starts with a Z was surprisingly flavorful and not bitter like you would think dark chocolate would be. The peanut butter I had (forgot whole name) is at the top of my list. Blueberry cheesecake was hubby’s favorite. We will be back the next time we visit family.

Therapy Ice Cream and Coffee is the best place we’ve visited in ages! The idea of coffee and ice cream in the same business was brilliant. Their hot and cold beverage offerings include standard favorites, but even better are the drink recipes we’ve never encountered anywhere else. Simply delicious. You can enjoy pastries with your beverage or splurge and indulge in the ice cream available in unique and tasty flavors. There’s also a few lunch options if you choose to stay and take advantage of the abundantly charming interior set with two-seater tables as well as a long table and benches or the upholstered seating near the fireplace. Don’t forget the outside seating as warmer weather draws near. There’s parking in front and behind with easy access stairs on the side of the building. Best of all are the friendly staff and owner who are always welcoming and ready to assist you with suggestions should their amazing selection overwhelm!
