A true Columbus / UA staple . I love this bakery . I’ve been going my whole life . I love their cookies best . Great buttercream. Cakes have a unique texture . Not for everyone . Doughnuts are popular but I think they’re just okay . Big on their cookies Great staff .

We used the Goodie shop for our wedding on 9/16/22. We have been working with Emilie since last year for tastings and getting the perfect cake for our wedding day. Emilie was amazing. She was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process! She even helped with delivery last minute when we ran into some problems with pick up. The cake itself was incredible with perfect flavor. We went simple with white wedding cake with almond frosting and all of our guests were talking about how amazing it was! We will be using the goodie shop for future dessert needs and recommend them to everyone!

The Original Goodie Shop is a VERY BAD place, and I mean that in the BEST possible way !! When I walked through the door, I was asked if I liked cinnamon and was offered one of their signature items, which I gladly accepted, and quickly ordered a half dozen of. To paraphrase a favorite movie from the late 1930s: donuts, and cookies, and cakes, oh my !! This marvelous place had a WIDE variety of quality evil baked goods just waiting for me to give them a good home on the Monday morning I dropped by. I won’t even attempt to list their offerings. They were all beautiful and enticing, and have, thus far, proven to be equally tasty. In a cooler that they use for storing cakes they also had lemon bars, and chicken pot pies that you take home to bake at your leisure. Iced cut-out sugar cookies were in a case around the corner. And the ladies I spoke with were very friendly and equally knowledgeable of these “goodies” about which they are clearly very passionate.
Do yourself a favor and get thee to the Original Goodie Shop !!

I ordered donuts for pick up this weekend and when I got there they were about the size the normal are. The lady was nice gave me a discount which was okay. Then I got home and ate one and there was no cream at all in the long John. I’m not sure if there was a new baker or what happened but hopefully this is a one time event. Regardless it was for my dad for Father’s Day and it was very disappointing!

The Goodie shop is a little piece of heaven for me and my family. I went there growing up, took my kids there, and now my grandkids. Our favorites are the cream horns, wonderfully decorated cookies, and rich delicious brownies. I love the addition of coffee too. The staff is always super nice and professional. So glad to have this lovely and charming shop close by.

The place for sweet treats in this part of Columbus. A line out the door at 7:45 an a Saturday morning is a good sign. Delicious donuts are worth the short wait.
