Usually some of the best donuts ever!!!
I came here for the first time today, May 29th and everything was great. Friendly young lady at the counter and an enormous amount of donuts to choose from. We will most certainly come back over and over and over.

Well, we tried the donuts here for the first time as dessert after dinner and were quite dissatisfied. The donuts tasted stale as others have mentioned and to top it off the kid at the register was not very polite and had an almost condescending tone during our whole interaction. I’ve heard other locations are better, may or may not give them another chance.

Just bought a dozen donuts. They are very stale. In addition 4 of the donuts were about half the size of a normal donut. This was a waste of money.

3rd and last time i’m ever going to this shop again. I have written 2 letters now to corporate complaining of this newly open store. First visit, the cream filled donuts had NO CREAM. The second time I went the cream in the donuts practically can out of the donuts, it was like water. The third visit, yesterday….all 12 donuts were stale..really stale and hard. All 12 went in the trash. I’m done with this store and will visit other Shipleys where i’ve never had a problem.

Friendly service. Clean shop. Largest selection of donuts in the area. The cake donuts are not light or fluffy. Prices are higher than other area shops.

Please serve your glazed donuts warm!! (Houston locations got me spoiled by doing this) I love shipleys overall as a company but I don’t always love every shipleys location. Shipleys will always do better in Houston as that’s were it originates from. Just hope all these other shipley locations take note on serving warm glazed donuts. So far all shipleys here in San Antonio are just okay.

I’ve been here about a handful of times since they have opened and so far I’m happy because it reminds me of a donut shop back home. Haven’t had any fresh donuts though in the many early mornings we have visited. Today we passed and got two glazed, two iced chocolate and a dozen donut holes (which were also cold and old) only to come home and realize we were missing a chocolate iced. It’s on the receipt so it’s not an error there. Just check your box before leaving the drive thru.
