First, the owner is a very decent guy and I hope they take my constructive criticism.
Please consider a small selection of donuts that are fresh and cooked properly. I refuse to eat there anymore because I always get a belly ache.I don’t know if it’s the dough or what but something isn’t right.

Best donuts. Been coming here for years and years. Underrated for the amazing deliciousness. Nicest owners and the best cake donuts you’ll ever have. The crumb is what dreams are made of!!!

I’ve known David &Jennifer for over 30 years, going back to where they operated their first donut shop in San Marcos. They lost that place to a fire but thank goodness they had this 2nd location. I’m still a loyal friend & customer.

RB Donut is a great place to make your favorite after exercise destination (yoga, Pilates, boxing, jogging, and even you Peletons, though I prefer riding my bike there) you deserve the finest doughnuts made in America’s finest city.

I have been getting doughnuts from RB Donuts since 2006. Wow! Over 15 years. It seems like yesterday; I would be getting to the RB Donut shop a little after 5:30 AM (so that I could make a conference call to the East Coast by 9 AM (eastern). I would get the big doughnuts (apple fritters, blueberry fritters, cinnamon rolls, and bear claws) for my software development team as a reward for getting the release out which was usually on a Friday.

What was unique for this development team was that the software quality assurance (SQA) team reported to the same manager as the development team (me). So on a Saturday or as late as Tuesday of the following week, I would get multiple boxes of the more regular doughnuts with a hole (old-fashion, fry cake (vanilla), chocolate fry cake) with no hole (twists, bars, and filled (jelly or cream)), with frosting (chocolate, maple, or any vanilla frosting dyed with the closest party day (green for St. Patrick’s day, red/white/blue for the 4th of July) or without frosting (plain, powder sugar, cinnamon, glazed) and with a variety fo toppings (chocolate sprinkles, single color sprinkles, multicolor “rainbow” sprinkles, and peanuts). Quite the variety of combinations, which was good since there were more people in the QA department and we always had some people in Documentation, Service, and Support, loitering in the lab (waiting patiently) for the release to be qualified so that it would make the launch. Did you know that RB Donuts has large muffins, too?

Now that I am retired, I enjoy riding my bike to RB Donut and buying only one or two to eat there and have some to take home. For some reason, I rarely have leftovers. Perhaps, I should say some for the road.

I’m sorry but the donuts here are horrible :/ Overpriced and greasy. I’ve went to this shop on a 2-3 occasions thinking each time I went maybe just a bad batch, but no overall rating is -1. Best donut shop is Donut Stop in Mira Mesa.

RB donuts has the best quality and selection in north county inland. Every time I’m in RB, I have to stop by here for dozen. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot.

My family and I have been coming here for years. The doughnuts are always fresh and very delicious! There are so many varieties to choose from. Highly recommend the apple fritters and raised doughnuts, but you can’t go wrong with anything. The owners are so sweet. This family owned establishment is a staple in the community.

This is a small shoppe owned by a ma and pop (trying to make their bills on time). Go show your appreciation. They sell a wonderful product at a price that’s probably too low to sustain. The donuts are awesome, fresh, and soft/fluffy/delicious. The French crullers are addicting.
I went to Voodoo donuts in Portland which are touted as best in the nation. This is better, just without the marketing.

Stopped in today because it is Fat Tuesday & I was looking for decadence . I found it here! I got three donuts 2 butterscotch bars & one fancy colorful cake w sprinkles to share with my friend . We enjoyed them very much .
