Poppy Coffee Reviews
After some decent searching in the Stockton area, I think we’ve finally found the best coffee shop in the area. Not only do they make the best coffee, both espresso and drip, but Poppy’s food is simply delicious. At least the breakfast, I have yet to try lunch. But the breakfast burrito and dream sandwich get 5 stars.
Got a dirty spiced chai! (With oatmilk) It was phenomenal. Smelled great in there the food was great totally hit the spot.
Corner building with plenty of parking. Small amount of bakery items but has a lot of prepared to order food. Ordered Iced Mocha and it was light on the espresso taste and was overall a little milky. Very cute little spot for a local non-chain coffee spot
Such a cute spot. Glad we stumbled upon this place as it is a true coffee shop. They weigh they’re espresso grinds before they make them. They don’t over heat the milk. They provide late art. The aesthetic is very cute and on point with with the hipster coffee shop. Glad Stockton has this place instead of the basic Starbucks.
They offer oat milk for those dairy free and sick of almond milk options. The Mexican mocha we spicy and a tad sweet but absolutely worth the $5.00.
Stopped in while visiting my mom. The Pacific Panini was awesome. Perfect amount of crunch and cheesey goodness. I also tried the Lavanilla Latte which was really great. I like that you can choose your milk too. I would definitely recommend this place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
The food and coffee were very good. I wish they had a bigger place with more seating. I never saw them clean a table when people left so if that’s a concern for you don’t go there.
A nice coffee shop. I go there occasionally for lunch and coffee. A friendly environment with good service. No complaints. A nice coffee shop to hang out at. Non corporate independently owned.
The interior design is nice, Employees are nice as well. This was our first time Trying out this place. My wife and I usual go to Empresso that’s the best spot for Coffee. But we decided to give this spot a Try.
We were not impressed, the Mexican Mocha was bland, and the Drink my wife got was so tasteless that we can’t seem to remember the Name, and these are there signature drinks. The only great thing I took from this place was that Brownie and maybe this pic even though it’s not my best work.
I will try it again cause there are Days when some places are off their Game (hasn’t happened in Empresso) but for now I will leave this Rating.
Boo to this place. When an owner says they don’t care when they make a mistake on your food AFTER specifically asking for an ingredient to be excluded even though they have not listed the full ingredient list with GrubHub. Take caution if you’re hungry because they will not remake your food they will not acknowledge their mistake and refer you to the delivery service even though they have the ability to remedy it themselves. The owner straight up told me I don’t care after I asked her do you care and she said no because I was rude. When you’re so busy you don’t care about the customer is fine when you’re doing well but wait till you’re not.
I love this place! They have Mexican coffee and it is normally super sweet! And this morning the girl behind the counter told me she can make it sugar free!!!!!! Taste just like the regular one – just without all the sugar!!! The chocolate scone is heavenly – lots of giant chocolate chips!!!!! My Mexican coffee and chocolate chip scone totally hit the spot this morning!!!!! Thank you Poppy Coffee!!!!! Great service with a smile and wonderful products!!!!! I will be back!!!!!
