Tons of tempting flavors to choose from! Everything we tried was delicious. Scoop size was very good too . A bit expensive but that’s probably because of the great location. Only a few seats inside so be aware on a hot day. Looking forward to returning and trying more flavors!

This is a great little ice cream shop! Prices is decent, staff are friendly, location is easy to find, we have no complaints. They even have Superman ice cream that I’m told is the real version. My family and I stop here nearly every time we’re in the area, would highly recommend!

First of all, the retro ice cream parlor vibe is amazing so we’re already off to a good start. They have a ton of delicious unique flavors it’s overwhelming! Every flavor seems carefully crafted. At first I was sad there weren’t toppings to mix in, but the ice cream is definitely worthy of standing alone.
They also have REAL hot fudge. Not the wannabe chocolate sauce that most places have.

Petersen’s Ice Cream Rocks! We were there on a Saturday early so not that many people around we had the place to ourselves, by 8:30 it was filling up fast! This spot in downtown Gilbert is just like mill Ave back in the 90s you see everything from casual dressed people to the ones that look like they are headed to the club. Back to the ice cream, it was delicious!!! I had the cappuccino ice cream with chocolate chunks. Go check it out and sit outside at night and enjoy the atmosphere. Let us know what you think of the place.

This ice cream place was delicious, nice to meet fellow Chicagoan transplants. The Chicago pothole is freaking good!!!!! Served with a nice warm brownie. The Monster cookie is also a must try

Great price and fun options. Shared a peach I’ve cream sandwich with brownies for under $5. A steal. The ice cream is super smooth and the peach flavor is amazing. The place smells like Disneyland in all the right ways.

So good! I have walked and driven past this place 100 times, and wish I would have stopped in sooner.
This place has a retro old school vibe – yet amazing ice cream. I only had a single scoop tonight, but the New York Cherry is delicious!
Limited seating, and is pretty popular, so that means finding a place to sit down could be a challenge. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
The staff were quick and polite. Got our orders correct.
We will be back!
