Outside Coffee Reviews

This is my favorite coffee place in Grand Rapids for hanging out. The year-round outdoor seating is so refreshing. It’s fun to sit for a while and read, answer emails, or enjoy watching birds and dogs. (That’s the introvert in me talking – it’s also a great place to meet a friend or colleague.) The coffee is quite good, although I find the flavored drinks too sweet or synthetic-tasting, so I stick to plain espresso-based drinks. There are a handful of places in GR with better coffee but there’s no competition with the atmosphere.

Great place to get a coffee! Been here in the winter , summer, rainy fall, always good. Shelters are usually occupied, not sure if they are reserved, last winter they were. It was raining heavy one day and the occupants had mercy on me and said that I could join them. Fantastic. Today it’s very cold, fire pit is warming !

I’m new to Grand Rapids but I’m already delighted to have found such a charming place. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while and in such a lovely environment. I’ve only been here two weeks and I’ve already visited three times! I’m excited to try some of their more daring flavors like Last Mango in Paris 🙂

I like that they offer different tiers of coffee. I got the highest option and it was only available made in the Aeropress. My wife for the middle tier which was still outstanding but was noticeably inferior to the one I got. The space is cozy and cool for sure. My only comment would be for those not taking their drinks to go it would be greener and a more enjoyable coffee experience if they did real cups.

Checked this out for the first time recently. The French toast latte was really good! Not too sweet, tasted exactly like it lol. They have a lot of really different drinks I’ve never seen anywhere and I LOVE trying new and different things so this is exciting. Really cute spot, I can imagine even more so in the summer. They have a cozy igloo you can hang out in with a heater and blankets too.

Definitely will be back, barista was really nice too

Super cute little hangout area! I appreciate they had hammocks, as why doesn’t every coffee shop have hammocks? If I didn’t have my pups with me, this would be a place I could read for hours in. However, let us not forget to mention how wonderfully dog friendly it is. They have a drink especially for doggos, and even a baggie station in case there is an accident. We were just passing through on a road trip and have more appreciation for dog-friendly establishments. Thanks for being so awesome!

The vibes are cool for hanging out outside and with friends. The space is also pet friendly which is fun. The coffee is inconsistent because their baristas are changing constantly. You can’t be guaranteed the same drink every time.

Wonderful place. Pleasantly places to sit outside on a corner lot where you can drink excellent coffee and tea and sit under umbrellas if desired. I highly recommend it!

Where great coffee shop meets garden party. This dog friendly, family friendly, city oasis is one of my favorite places in Grand Rapids. I love it here!

The coffee beverages are always tasty and not too sweet. Love that they have different seating options for the seasons. The seasonal drink options are always appealing as well.
