We found Old School on a Google coffee search and I am so glad we did! We happened to be in town for a conference at the Campbell House Hilton Hotel but wanted to duck out for coffee. This was a WONDERFUL reprieve!
You’ll find Old School inside an old schoolhouse along with a few other businesses. It’s right on the main floor. It’s very school room vibe! The coffee is phenomenal. They do have a 2 hour wifi usage limit, but that was Al we needed to catch up on our morning work before heading back for sessions.
It’s common to find it pretty busy, full of UK kids studying or folks grabbing a quick cup of coffee! If the main room is full you’ll find some tables just in the hall! This is one of my favorite places to stop when I’m town! Check them out!

The coffee shop is very cute and located in an old school building. The atmosphere is not very relaxing since it’s very loud, but the staff is friendly. The coffee was very bitter and not very enjoyable, but the matcha was good. They also had no vegan food options, so I hope they will add some in the future.

Coffee was great. Location and design was amazing. This will be a stop for me whenever I’m in the Lexington area for sure. Ended up here on an afternoon work trip for somewhere to land and was happily surprised. In an old renovated building with lots of character.

Super friendly staff and crazy good prices! Love the old school house building! The place was packed so there was no seating but it’s super clean and cozy. My coffee was a little bitter, may just be and off day. I will be back, the parking is across the street .

Old School is easily my favorite coffee shop in Lexington!! They are consistently good and I’ve never left disappointed. I also love the workers; they are always the nicest people. It’s a smaller coffee shop, so I don’t love it for studying, but it’s great for meeting with friends!

Very good coffee and with plenty of original options. They have oatmilk and other milk alternatives, ant the flavor is great! There are not many tables so we can never stay and enjoy there because it’s always full of people with laptops working or studying, but if you don’t mind taking it to go, we’ll recommended!

Great coffee shop! Americano was on-point and the vibe is perfect. Slightly-hidden gem! Oh, and the Wi-Fi is free and really fast, too!

My favorite coffeeshop in lexington, hidden away in a cute building(walk through the red doors and follow the smell of ground coffee beans). Bright lighting and located close to UK with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

Neat space, convenient parking, solid Wi-Fi, and most importantly very good drinks. It’s fairly small, but well appointed. Definitely worth a stop.

Old School makes a mean latte! The quality of their coffee is just great. You can really tell the difference. Plus, they have all the milk alternatives.
It’s a hip joint right by UK, complete with studying college students. Tables are spaced out enough to be safe. Speaking of safe they maintain a 100 inspection rating.
A must-stop coffee shop.
