Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a toasted bagel :/. I got what I’m guessing is a bacon egg and cheese? Hard to tell if the bacon was put there intentionally or if a piece just fell on while they were making the sandwich

There are bagels available from many sources. In my experience, over the last few decades, occasionally there are manifestations of excellence. New Garden Bagels are… simply put…. sheer excellence. Good service, great bagels. I drive from 30 minutes away for these.

I was warned about buying bagels at New Garden Bagel shop in the afternoons but didn’t pay any attention to it. Stopped there at 2PM and picked up a dozen. When I got home we had three with our dinner or better described as “we tried to have three with dinner.” They were like bricks and even the microwave couldn’t revive them. Been buying there for years but always early in the mornings. This is the best bagel shop in Greensboro. Make sure they are fresh when you pick them up.

Feels just like a NY bagel place and tastes as close as I suppose you can without importing the water or something haha! They are a bit smaller then NY and maybe a bit less flavorful possibly cause of the size idk but great place pumping out the flavors here!!

Bagels are super fresh and delicious. They have 15+ flavors, something for everyone. They also have hot sandwiches, called Steamers. The best I’ve ever had.

**DOUGH NOT MADE IN HOUSE** I’ve eaten at New Garden Bagel every Sunday for years. I’ve loved it and look forward to my Sunday breakfast every week!! I know prices have raised everywhere and on everything!! Recently I noticed a hike in prices which is ok since it’s been happening everywhere, but today I got my normal Egg Everything Bagel with Bacon Egg and the Bacon Scallion cream cheese they rung me up and it was $8.91 for that and a coke!! So I asked the worker why it was so expensive and that I come weekly and lately the price was $7.21 that’s a $1.70 more and he proceeded to tell me that they no longer make their dough in house and they purchase it from a vendor and so prices have hiked due to them not making their own dough and paying a vendor!! The bagel was so dry and I am so disappointed this is not a NY Bagel like it has been in the past!!! Not returning!! Very disappointed!!

Could have done better at home with grocery store bagels. If you want a real bagel- Bagel Station in Winston-Salem is the place. I can’t tell the difference between their bagels and Absolute Bagels in NYC.
