Best donut shop I’ve been to. I live in El Paso; Gussie’s and Horizon Bakery are a really good place to get sweets.
Mr. T’s in Modesto is darn good too. Have not been here in a few years and forgot how good this place was.
The pastry I ordered was a banana fritter. I cannot find these back home. Coffee was good too.

The flavors were amazing. The filling in the filled donuts was generous and delicious. I especially recommend the raspberry one. My other favorite one was the banana fritter. Service was courteous and prompt. Note: they do not accept credit cards, cash or debit cards only.

My first time going here and it was very overwhelming. They have a small space where people stand and upon walking in and my toddler looking to the donut case, a man was already yelling about how he was in line and we shouldn’t cut. I has to tell.him to relax. There’s literally the smallest area to stand before ordering. There is no menu to look at while you’re waiting so when the ladies are asking you what you want as soon as you walk in, it was very nerve-racking. Like, how am I supposed to know what I want as soon as I walk in? You can’t use credit cards. Only cash or debit. I’m assuming so they don’t have to pay fees. You’re not given a moment to see all they have available to make a decision. I guess if I look up the menu beforehand if I decide to go again. We got fritters that were so greasy and hardly any flavor. I’ve never had a donut so greasy before. For the price, it was ok.

I’ll admit that, as a Modesto native, I don’t like admitting I’m from Modesto, as we don’t have the best reputation. But I will proudly admit to being from the home of one of the top 15 donut shops in the country.
Mr. T’s is a classic donut shop through and through. Donuts, fritters, cinnamon rolls, and a variety of soft drinks. The selection rarely changes, but where they shine is quality. Their being a 24-hour business means you can go in there almost any time of day and have a fresh donut. Midnight blues? Call some other night owl friends and share a dozen donuts. Leaving after last call? Sober up with a donut and some coffee.
Mr. T’s is a Modesto establishment for a reason. I normally make a recommendation, but you can’t go wrong – If I want something homestyle, I get a banana fritter. If I wanna indulge, the bavarian cream is my jam. Classic raised? Of course. Chocolate chip devil’s food cake donuts? You bet.

Mr. T’s gives Stan’s a run for their money. Usually has warm donuts even later in the morning. Delicious , efficient, and friendly service. Apple fritters are my favorite but they have a huge variety of delicious donuts..

I was out late riding my bike, checking out my new hood. Came across Mr T’s. Jackpot! Somewhat spendy but delicious, open all night. Friendly people. My first purchase I was 25 cents short (forgot about CA taxes). Was it “oh, so sorry”? No! They said don’t worry about it and gave me my little bag of fresh donuts, thanked me and wished me well. Love them and their donuts.

10/10 as always. They had Valentine shaped donuts so naturally, I had to have them. The only con was they were out of donuts with filling and there weren’t too many options available. I found it odd since it was a Saturday afternoon.
