I wish I had gotten her name, but whoever was working the morning of Sunday, April 4, 2021 was awesome. She recommended the apple fritter, and she did not steer me wrong! She was so friendly and cheerful for having been there so early. I am so thankful to all of you morning people who make such delicious bakery goods!!

For quick donuts in the morning, these are sufficient. I have not tried a large variety, but I have always found the traditional glazed amd chocolate to hit the spot…and the Blueberry donuts are AMAZING!

Such a great place. I am visiting from Chicago, and the fresh original donuts are better than anything I’ve had in my life. They are extremely soft in texture, fresh, and sweet in perfect level. The service was top notch. Coffee was excellent. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!!

A little confusion on my order where I wanted half doz and given a full doz but am I gonna complain for too many donuts? Absolutely not! I did notice it when time to pay(for full dozen) but felt the donut gods were trying to tell me something so I listened and glad I did those donuts didn’t stand a chance at my house! Mary Lee was what we had when i was a kid and growing up and I’m glad we have one in Brusly to share with my kids. O and the glazed donuts literally MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!

This place is the hidden jewel of Port Allen. Donuts are made in extremely clean environment. If God exists he made these donuts for his people. You will be crying once you have your first bite. Why? TEARS OF JOY!!! It’s a shame I don’t live in LA to enjoy these on a daily basis.

This is the worst donuts I’ve ever had. They need to go to a real donut shop and learn how to make fluffy cake donuts. And they didn’t have bullverian cream donuts.

Once you taste their glazed donut out of the fryer, you will be depressed that you cannot eat it every morning.
Please try their glazed donut and coffee together..♡

I grew up in Baton Rouge and in the late 70’s a Mary Lee’s donut opened on Florida Blvd. and later in the 80’s on was opened on Greenwell Springs Rd. It was located between our church and home and my dad would pick up 1 or 2 dozen donuts depending on who was at the house. Now my children are enjoying Mary Lee’s
