I’m not big into writing reviews, but Ludwick’s is easily my favorite bakery in the fine state of Michigan and I figured I would share some quick thoughts. The baked goods are delicious. I am in love with the Chewy Coconut Cookies and their signature Sour Cream Donuts. They always taste super fresh like they have just been baked.
I also have to give a shout out to the staff. Everyone there is exceptionally friendly (especially that little blonde curly haired girl). They are very helpful and listen to their customers. Also, I went in and was given free samples, which is never a bad thing!
If you are in the area you need to stop by and give it a try! It is definitely worth it!
Five Window
We just purchased another package of your tasty Sour Cream Doughnuts only to find they are nearly half the size for what they used to be. We have been a loyal customer for over 25 year buying them weekly and now disappointed to see they are now smaller. Was this a production error or was it intentional? We will be buying more this week and if this package is like the last bought I will be calling you.

During the beginning of the pandemic, my 81 year old dad wasn’t able to get Ludwick’s sour cream donuts, which he loves! I called to see if I could get some sent to us. I spoke with the owner and he said he would have some delivered to my dad at no charge! That’s awesome customer service! Thank you!!

I purchased these sour cream donuts at mid town market in Kalamazoo I am very disappointed, I used to buy these all the time and they have become harder to find. I was excited when I saw them and purc62 pks of them became we all love them, I noticed they really shrunk in size but still bought them they are very dry and hard was very disappointed

I was treated to Ludwicks fresh sour cream donuts 30 plus years ago because I worked for a small milk/dairy products plant and we supplied the fresh sour cream they used. I had not had any since then but about 3 years ago I stopped into their bakery and purchased some of their nutty glazed sour cream donut sticks…they still melt in your mouth! Try them 🙂

This Christmas I wanted to share with family and friends one of my childhood favorites, Banket. My great-aunt made it for us whenever we visited in MIchigan and she tried repeatedly to teach me. Unfortunately I was never able to master the art. I placed a large order from Ludrick’s Bakery and was so pleased. It tastes just like my aunt’s, maybe better, and arrived perfectly packaged to share. We are going to add a new tradition to all our holidays. I am so happy I found them!
