LASATERS® Coffee & Tea Reviews

First visit.

Ordered the blended medium caffe mocha with heavy whip cream, chocolate drizzle, and powdered cinnamon sprinkled on top.

The drink was good, but here is a heads up to those that like whip cream on their drink.

They have a sign posted at the order counter that explains “Due to the increasing cost of heavy whip, beginning March 7th all whipped cream on drinks will require an additional charge. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Per the menu, the cost of whip cream is $1.25.
Ouch.

To be fair, the drink was good.
I was satisfied with how it was presented and tasted.
It was smooth, a tad sweeter than I would have preferred, but not too sweet to make the drink unpalatable.
The medium size blended comes with two shots of espresso, which was plenty coffee for me.

But, IMO, the cost is on the high side.
Total was $7.34.

Speaking from a customers perspective, I know I can get a comparable beverage at Starbucks for $5.25. That’s a 30% discount, and a hard sell for me going forward.
Just being honest.

I will complement the coffee shop on the atmosphere.
First coffee shop I’ve been to in a while that didn’t have any music playing in the background.
I can’t express enough how much I appreciated the absence of noise in this cafe.
Of course, notwithstanding the harsh sound of blenders crushing ice, but that’s almost everywhere.

For seating, there are 4 booths that can comfortably seat 4 adults.
The booths were actually comfy, and a good space to layout a laptop or simply read.

There is also some high counter seating along the glass windows at the entrance.

Aside from that, the baristas were friendly, albeit a little backed up, but they did apologize for the wait.

All in all, glad I gave Lasters a try.

If you’re looking for a good drink in a relatively quiet cafe, where you’ll have booth seating that accommodates work/studying needs, this could be your next discovery.

Oh, last helpful mention.
They do have a covered drive-thru.
So rain or shine you can get coffee anytime.

First experience at the Lasater on Wilma and I will now drive across town to go and get coffee! I have never heard a more friendly and welcoming voice that Tyler’s over the speaker! I get to the window and Tyler has the most vibrant personality and smile! Seriously it’s so nice to see someone so friendly with the crazy world we live in. Thank you so much Tyler for making my day, after a crazy week it turned everything around!! Give Tyler a raise Lasaters!!!

Update at the bottom: I get Lasaters at least 3 times a week and after today I will no longer get it at the Wilma location. This is the 4th time in a row I have gotten coffee at this location and it’s been awful. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because prior to the last month I never had an issue and I have only had wonderful coffee at the one off riverside and tiny town. Here’s a picture of my coffee today- pretty sure there’s no coffee in it, it taste like watered down milk.
Edit: Today, one day after my review, the company reached out to me to ask more questions about my experience so they could retrain employees on staff, they also refunded my money for the coffee. Nicole was very pleasant to talk to and you could tell she truly just wants what is best for their business.

I absolutely love Lasaters. The staff is super friendly. The lady at the window today couldn’t have been any nicer. We had a little conversation while waiting for our coffee and she thanked me for being patient, which wasn’t necessary because I will gladly wait for a coffee from Lasaters. They have a sign posted that says they are hiring so I expected a little delay. However, it wasn’t a big deal. I will gladly wait. Keep making great coffee!

Excellent coffee. The best in Clarksville. But horrible, awful slow. Don’t try walk up at the Wilma Rudolph location. Stand in line for 15 minutes waiting for how slow they are and then they can’t hear you properly through the speaker which makes no sense because standing there puts you closer than if you’re driving. But they can’t be bothered to come out and tell you. Clearly poor customer service. You all need to go to the West Coast and find out how they make coffee and how they deal with customer service. Fast, courteous, people coming out to take orders in line to speed things up.. Light years beyond Tennessee coffee.

I think this is my favorite lasaters location. Very friendly staff and good coffee. My drink was too sweet for my liking and they were happy to make me a new drink.

Friendly baristas!! Strong and delicious iced lattes, the teas are great, and the sandwiches are yummy! Whenever I’m in Clarksville, I always have to stop at Lasaters.

Do you like to drink smoothies? How about avoiding Starbucks? What about a drive through?Well then, you are in luck my good friend. Lasaters Coffee & Tea is the one stop shop. The smoothies are but I can’t speak for the coffee, as I do not drink that stuff. However, I do recommend coming here for some smoothies though. Bring some friends and even family!
