Cute bakery! I love walking in to the smell of freshly baked pastries and coffee. They have so many kinds of sandwiches and drinks to choose from

One of my favorites French bakery in Irvine! Love the French Baggeutes when it’s just out of the oven and the tuna niçoise.

Located conveniently in the Ralph’s/CVS plaza. I ordered 2 sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! Here are the descriptions:

L. B. Club: Pain de mie with turkey breast, bacon, Avocado, Roma tomato, butter lettuce. Seasonal greens side.

Chicken, Pesto, & Prosciutto: Pain de mie with chicken breast, Swiss cheese, prosciutto, Roma tomato, arugula. Side of Provencal chips (must try their in house chips! Very tasty!)

My first time trying their breakfast meal. Found out about this new eatery thru Facebook ad. We signed up and received a coupon for buy 1 free 1. We ordered the Classic LB Breakfast and the Croissant French Toast.

My son said the Classic LB Breakfast was good but the portion was smaller. It was not enough for him. The French toasts taste average.

After the 1st visit, I received another coupon for free coffee ☕ from them.

This bakery seems like it should be good, but it is sub par at best. The bread we purchased was stale, and the coffee so bitter that I actually thought that they perhaps did not clean their coffee maker and left detergent in it. Definitely not a place to return, and I would avoid.

I love everything in this place. First , people. Some of them know me and my fav Mocha ! Second, all croissants are delicious as well as other sandwiches. Third , it’s so close to my home ! I’m a big fan of them

Great place. I especially the Ham and Cheese Baguette, the chocolate croissant, almond croissant, hazelnut croissant!! and their coffees. Really an excellent place if you want European style bakery food.

Came for the coffee which is much better than Starbucks. Their cappuccino actually has the taste of espresso coffee and is made with whole milk.

Also got their avocado toast which is fresh and excellent.

Update: they’ve changed the bread that they use for the toast to some kind of cheap sourdough. I haven’t come back since they’ve changed it.

I have fallen in love with this bakery. I discovered Kouign Amanns when I visited Paris and have tried Kouign Amanns at different bakeries here in the USA, but these are better than we had in Paris!. Up until now we traveled twice a year to San Francisco so we could buy these up and bring them home to put in our freezer. We found that La Boulangerie Alton Square in Irvine, Ca had their grand opening yesterday and is only a little over an hours drive away, saving us the price of airfare and hotel rooms. I contacted Grace the manager who went out of her way to send me the current pictures, menus, and online ordering links. We have placed our online for pickup tomorrow. We are in Kouign Amann Heaven!

Egg and cheese croissant was really good. The service is not that great, I ordered croissant and a latte, the waiter brought me a croissant without any napkins or cutlery, and only in 5 mins my latter, the cup was without a saucer. There were 4 employees at the cafe and it was not crowded, they could be more attentive to their customers.
Also lemonade is $5,25 way over priced. I wouldn’t come here again (
