A very sweet bakery store with lots of baked goods! This bakery does service ice and hot drinks, coffee and espresso with different types of flavors depending on the day. The donuts are very delicious and fresh. All of the bakery is fresh. The croissants were crunchy yet soft in the mouth. You can grab these to go or there are seats and tables outside. Parking is only accessible on the street. Going inside, it is a bit tight. Overall, an excellent place to stop for sweets if you’re craving it.

Very small place, the way the floor is set up, you walk in and have 3 walls of pastries, you better hope you’re alone if you plan on looking. I had a mother with her kids waiting and it just feels so cramped. I wanted to grab some coffee to go as well but it’s on the back wall opposite the pastry walls so I felt it easier to just pay for my donuts and go. A bit overwhelming due to its small size, otherwise the decor is welcoming.

Driving back from the airport and wanted some goodies. Cute little shop and I loved the aesthetic. But a little disappointed with some pastries and donuts. Some were dry and the flavor wasn’t all there. I would come back and give it another try, as people in the neighborhood do love this bakery.

What an awesome French bakery! We got onion buns, donuts as well as pastries. Not a single thing was less than utterly delicious! Will definitely be back when in St. Paul, and I suggest you do the same.

Great doughnuts! We loved all of the flavors we had. Both raised and cake style were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the different treats they offered. Worth the trip!

Been meaning to stop in for quite a awhile now and today’s the day. Picked up some cronuts, an angel food cake, a brownie and a scone. Devoured the cupcake as soon as we got to the car. It was delicious! I liked that the sizes and prices were reasonable as well. Also, everyone was politely obeying the rule of only four inside at a time and everyone had a mask. 10/10 will go back for sure!

My favorite place for croissants in the Twin Cities. Cheerful and welcoming staff, wonderful baked goods, and (at least for me) convenient hours. I make a point of stopping past La Boulangerie Marguerite every week for croissants and coffee. Delightful neighborhood find!!

Great bakery on the corner. Lovely retail space and friendly staff. Great donuts and terrific croissants. Love this place, every time I stop here people treat me like family!

Not sure why all the 5 star ratings. I went there at 10:00 a.m. on a Friday morning and everything I ordered was day old or really poorly made or stored. Service was weird because when I went in the store the young woman who waited on me made me feel like I was in the wrong place and not at all friendly. Actually the blueberry cream cheese pastry tasted older than a day It’s also really expensive for what you get.

We stopped by just after noon on a Saturday in hopes of grabbing something for lunch and were not disappointed! We had the ham and cheese croissants and got some pastries for the road; the croissants were incredible, as the dough was delicious and flaky, but also moist, and it had the perfect balance of meat and cheese. Just heavenly! Also, being back in the Midwest, I was excited to see bismarks (jelly-filled, sugar coated donuts) – maybe I was just hungry, but it was the best bismark I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. Not soggy, not overly sweet. Pretty sure that all others will pale in comparison now. Thanks for that!
This place has come a long way since its PJ Murphy days! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.
