Underwhelming! I’d heard good things but it was a bit of a let down. I was disappointed with four of the six donuts, and the other two were just fine. You can get better, more flavorful donuts elsewhere.

The “secret” that others have mentioned is go after 6pm if you expect a fresh donut. They make their donuts during the day (unlike the olde days when donut shops would start work in a closed store in the early morning hours (1am) to have everything ready for 6am). The fresh products aren’t ready until evening…this is especially noticeable with raised donuts as cake donuts don’t dry out as fast. Have tested this theory many times (I live less than a mile away) and it is 100% accurate.

I love the new look I haven’t been here in years but I use to take my kid there when they were little 25 yrs ago. The best apple fritters in Wisconsin

I’m 33 and I’ve been going there since I was 13! Never had a bad experience. The staff know me, I take my son there now. Great Smoothies, and I love the how they remolded the place

Best donuts ever! Freshly made daily. Convenient and quick. Great place for a quick snack. Have been going there for many years. Love this place!

Worst Bakery ever, Donuts tasted like fish from old burnt oil. I bought donuts for my coworkers and no one took more than one bite of their donut. My raspberry filled donut had about 1/2 teaspoon if that of raspberry and a donut was it least a day old. I highly recommend going elsewhere.
update: went in after remodel, still selling day old donuts and the filler which is supposed to be cream based was more like the frosting you get on a really cheap cake that hurts your teeth the second you bite into it. generic pre-packaged donuts would have been better. I would have thought Honeydip Donuts would have standards and approved products worked into the contract of franchised stores.

Very smooth place to take your family for donuts and milk shakes and the manager is very respectful
